NFL Week 10: Bullish Bets You Can Make with Confidence

Week 10 has some tough matchups which you can see by how low a lot of these spreads this week. No worries though, we still have a few spots that we believe you can bet with confidence. We’ll start with the worst division in football where the Eagles travel to face the Giants. We stay in the NFC for the other matchup where the Bucs travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants

Sunday, November 15, 2020 – 01:00 PM EST at MetLife Stadium

While it might be the worst division in football, the winner of the NFC East will receive an automatic playoff berth. That means regardless of how bad the division winner's regular season record is, they will have earned the right to host a playoff game. With that in mind, the Philadelphia Eagles still have the chance to get their season back on track. While they struggled to beat the Giants a few weeks ago, they did win which is all that matters.

In this spot Sunday, we need them to cover a -3 spread according to what is available at SBR's NFL odds page. Every division contest is a must-win game for Philadelphia from here until the end of the season and with Dallas now out of the picture, the division is truly theirs to lose. I think they get the job done and win it, starting with this game against New York. When they met a few weeks ago, it's hard to imagine Philly could play any worse and they still won.

Although a lot of the Eagles faithful seems to be losing confidence in Carson Wentz, I think he's been getting better as the weeks go on even though the bonehead plays are still way too present. Give me the Eagles to cover -3 (-120) which is available now at BetOnline. If the line was 3.5 I might look towards the Giants but I think a one score spread in a must-win game against an inferior opponent is about right for Philly.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers

Sunday, November 15, 2020 - 01:00 PM EST at Bank of America Stadium

This is one of the first bets I made this week as soon as the line became available. The fact that the Bucs got blown out in prime time was absolutely going to affect this line. The thing is, the Bucs are not as good as the team we saw against the Packers but certainly not as bad as the team we saw on Monday night. They are somewhere in between which still makes them one of the best teams in the NFC. I think had they lost the game to the Saints by less points, this spread is at least 9 if not more.

Instead it opened at -7 at most of the top online sportsbooks and now has been bet down to -5. While I do have a ton of respect for Carolina and what they've done, they are no match for Tampa Bay. On top of that, after losing both games to the Saints, the Bucs can ill afford to lose more division games. Lastly, I expect to see a fired up Tom Brady who was again embarrassed on prime time. If there was ever a bounce back situation for Brady, this would be it. For my NFL picks, I'll take the Bucs at -5 (-110) which is available right now at Bookmaker.
