Best NFL Prop Bets For Thursday Night Football Week 10

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown celebrates after picking up a first down in win over Chicago Bears

Week 10 will get underway here, with the Tennessee Titans hosting the Indianapolis Colts for a game with massive implications for the AFC South. Whoever wins this one will emerge in first place in the division. These teams will play twice in the next three weeks, and I can’t wait to see how this one plays out.

While the side and total will understandably attract a lot of attention, and you can read our picks on those here in our full game preview, there’s plenty of value on props as well. With that in mind, there are two player props that we love for this Thursday Night Football game:

Philip Rivers over 260.5 passing yards (-110)

This is exactly the type of defense Rivers usually has a lot of success against. When he has a clean pocket Rivers is still as lethal as any quarterback in the league, and he should be quite comfortable in this one. In addition to having a rock-solid offensive line, the Titans are also one of the worst teams in the league at getting after the quarterback. In fact, they have only ten sacks this year, just two ahead of the Jaguars for last in the NFL.

When Rivers played that Jacksonville team, he had 363 yards. This Tennessee secondary is really banged up as they’ll still be without Adoree’ Jackson and Kristian Fulton for this one, and the unit already wasn’t great to begin with. The Titans’ linebackers are also very exploitable, and Rivers is best at throwing to running backs and tight ends anyway.

A.J. Brown over 66.5 receiving yards  (-110)

This total is pretty conservative in my opinion. Brown has been on fire recently, with touchdowns in five straight games, and getting him the ball is clearly offensive coordinator Arthur Smith’s priority. His role is incredibly consistent as he has at least seven targets in every game this season, so you don’t have to worry about him suddenly going absent.

Brown is a big-play threat, and it’s not out of the question that he could cash this over in just a couple of catches. He already has a 73-yard reception this season. This Colts defense is playing really well, but they don’t play a tight press-man style of defense. They play softer coverage that allows a lot of easy completions, and I think Brown will feast even if it ultimately doesn’t turn into touchdowns. He has at least 101 yards in two of his past three games so I feel pretty great about this bet.
