‘Tank’s a troll’ – Gervonta Davis confuses fans with cryptic Instagram post during Ryan Garcia’s comeback fight

Gervonta Davis posted an intriguing cryptic Instagram post at the start of Ryan Garcia’s comeback fight on Saturday night.

Garcia knocked out Oscar Duarte in round eight to return victorious in his first bout since losing to Tank in April.

He did not have things all his own way by any means, but the 25-year-old American star found a knockout regardless.

As the fight started, his old foe Davis took to social media and posted two pictures along with a cryptic caption.

The first image was of his Ferrari, while the second was of Garcia wincing in pain from the body shot that knocked him out in April.

The caption were lyrics from British rapper Dave’s verse on Trojan Horse, which read: “Antisocial, I’m loner.. let’s not talk bout makin a Mil, this year I average 100 ms in a month.. had a vision of running it up, and it’s working well like rum in a punch!”

Fans were somewhat baffled by the post, with one asking: “What does that even mean?”

A second said: “What is he even trying to say? I don’t understand that type of talk. That’s not good sportsmanship being salty to your former opponent.”

And a third wrote: “SECOND PIC FOR WHAT?”

There were differing theories as to the meaning behind the post, but ultimately most believed it to be intended to troll Garcia.

One fan reacted: “You’re cold for the second pic during the man’s fight.”

A second simply said: “Tank’s a troll.

Another fan commented: “Nah the second pic is personal.”

While a fourth put: “Bro just had to rub it in with that second slide.”
