Joe Mazzulla Still isn’t Over Pat Bev Beating Him in College

Don’t think for one second that crypto scammer Payton Pritchard is innocent either.

So why the beef? Did Mazzulla diss him because of the Sixers/Celtics rivalry? Did Pat Bev piss him off at some point in his NBA career? Neither. It’s because Pat Bev and his Arkansas Razorbacks beat up Mazzulla and Kinker’s West Virginia Mountaineers in the 2006 Old Spice Classic championship game. Duh.

Pat Bev played a strong 28 minutes and finished with seven points, six rebounds, and five assists. He was named to the all-tournament team. Mazzulla? Guy played one minute. ONE!

Mazzulla had PTSD of 2006 come floating back. Pat Bev COOKED the Celtics! He tied a career high in points with 26. Mazzulla’s never been able to shake that memory.

If you think I’m kidding I’m not. The guy doesn’t forget anything. Look at his serial killer eyes widen as he gets to bring up a reporter’s article from 2016 after losing to the Sixers early this year:
