NFL DFS FanDuel Cash Picks for Week 1 (Fantasy Football)

Each week I’ll highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools. On the Fantasy Footballers DFS & Betting Podcast, Betz and myself will dive into a couple of these but this article is intended for DFS Pass subscribers to get the full lay of the land.

On Saturdays, I narrow this pool of cash players to our DFS Best Plays, arguably the most valuable article in the DFS Pass.

Quarterbacks

Jalen Hurts @ NE- $9000

Spending up at the QB position can alleviate a ton of pain on FanDuel. Hurts is the only QB who can match Lamar Jackson’s ceiling outcomes on this slate but his floor is always so enticing.  Expect the passing attack to be pushed a bit more this year albeit Week 1 is against Uncle Bill on the road. The Eagles play a ton of man coverage, something A.J. Brown and company excel at.

Against man coverage, A.J. Brown led the Eagles with 34.8% of the targets and was targeted on 31.4% of his routes.

New England played man coverage on 33.4% of passing plays in 2022 (6th).
