KSI and Logan Paul to fight on same night in ‘most epic card in history’ on October 14

KSI and Logan Paul have announced they will be fighting on the same night in October – the first time since their rematch in 2019.

Though the rivals-turned-Prime business partners will not be facing each other at the AO Arena in Manchester on October 14.

It is a return to the same venue where the duo first fought each other in 2018.

KSI took to social media to announce the ‘Prime boxing card’, which will be broadcast on DAZN pay-per-view.

No details were given on who they will pit their wits against, but it is known that KSI has been chasing a bout with Tommy Fury, who beat Logan’s brother Jake last time out.

In a post shared to fans, KSI said: “The PRIME card is here!

“We will both fight on the same night for the first time since our rematch in 2019, live on DAZN PPV. Opponents will be announced soon.”

KSI’s manager Mans Taylor remarked: “The most epic card in history incoming. Guaranteed!”

Paul and KSI, who founded energy drink Prime together, have enjoyed two competitive fights against each other in the ring.

Their first meeting came five years ago at the AO Arena where judges scored the contest as a draw.

For the rematch in 2019, they turned professional, with KSI edging out a split decision victory in Los Angeles.

Since that dust-up, KSI has won three exhibition bouts, with his victories against Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda last year coming on the same night.

He then knocked out FaZe Temperrr in January, before controversially stopping Joe Fournier in May, though his win was later overturned to a ‘no decision’.

As for Paul, he has fought just once in the ring since his rematch with KSI – an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather in June 2021 where he took his American compatriot the distance.

Though he has become a part-time wrestler for WWE, where he is a huge fan favourite.

Speaking to ESPN on Friday, Paul revealed he cannot wait to step back inside the squared circle.

He stated: “I’m f****** pumped, man. It’s been so long since I had a boxing fight, and I feel like I’ve kind of been left out of the conversation.

“But I don’t train wrestling. I train boxing. I practice for my matches a couple times, but it’s not like I’m doing WWE training.

“I’ve been behind the scenes just boxing for the past two years, so I’m so excited to finally get back in the ring and show people how good I really am at the sport.”
