Howie is dealing today! I thought this was gonna be a pretty nice little Saturday with only three picks. Was gonna go to Home Depot. Buy some wallpaper, different flooring. Stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I don’t know. I didn’t know if we’d have enough time. But instead Howie trades up for Kelee Ringo. DAWG! And then trades for D’Andre Swift. DAWG!
Swift presumably fell out of favor with the Lions after they selected Jahmyr Gibbs in the first round. He can both run and catch out of the backfield. He had a less productive season last year than his previous two, not even getting 100 rushing attempts, but he averaged 5.5 YPC when he got the ball. Imagine what he can do behind the best line in football. If Rashaad Penny can stay healthy this running back crew might be the deepest in franchise history! Just an embarrassment of riches. Howie is playing Madden Franchise Mode in real life.
