Currently blowing up social media:
🚨 SOURCES: Several @NBA reps are expected to be in attendance for Game 3 of the 76ers-Heat series in Philadelphia Friday.
By all accounts, it appears as if their purpose will be to ceremoniously announce Joel Embiid as the winner of the 2021-22 Kia NBA MVP.

Morris has about 2,500 Twitter followers and is a verified blue checkmark, though I’m not sure how much that matters these days. They’ll give a blue check to anybody.

I think most people had given up on the thought of Embiid winning MVP. The ESPN straw poll heavily favored Jokic. Fans were putting together voter spreadsheets that had the edge going to Jokic. I’d be stunned if Embiid turned around and won this thing, but if he does, get this man Justin Morris an award for scoop of the month.
