Full Court: NBA Betting Notes for Friday, Feb. 25

It’s another busy night in the NBA with nine games to keep you occupied. Here are Friday’s key NBA betting notes.

Friday’s marquee matchup is in the late window when the Los Angeles Clippers play the Los Angeles Lakers. Two Eastern Conference contenders play earlier with the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers both on the road. The Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Minnesota Timberwolves are playing on no rest.

Here is a closer look at each of Friday’s NBA matchups.

NBA betting notes: Charlotte is tied for the most points per game in the NBA this season with 113.8 and has averaged 119.0 over its last five. The Raptors have scored 114.1 points per 100 possessions this season but could be missing VanVleet.

Best bet: Under 225.5 (-110 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Indiana Pacers, 7 p.m. ET

Trends: Thunder 18-41 SU, 35-20-4 ATS, 25-33-1 O/U | Pacers 20-40 SU, 27-30-3 ATS, 32-27-1 O/U

NBA betting notes: Thunder are 5-4 ATS with no rest this season. Since trading away forward Domantas Sabonis on Feb. 8, the Pacers have scored 115.4 PPG but have the second-worst defensive rating in the league.

Best bet: Over 216.5 (-110 via FanDuel Sportsbook)

Houston Rockets vs. Orlando Magic, 7 p.m. ET

Trends: Rockets 15-43 SU, 23-34-1 ATS, 34-23-1 O/U | Magic 13-47 SU, 26-34 ATS, 32-27-1 O/U

Best bet: Over 228.5 (-110 via FanDuel)

San Antonio Spurs vs. Washington Wizards, 7 p.m. ET

Trends: Spurs 23-36 SU, 30-28-1 ATS, 30-27-2 O/U | Wizards 27-31 SU, 22-34-2 ATS, 29-28-1 O/U

Key injuries: SAS SG Joshua Primo (wrist, game-time decision), SG Romeo Langford (groin, game-time decision); WAS SG Bradley Beal (wrist), C Thomas Bryant (ankle, game-time decision), PF Kristaps Porzingis (knee)
NBA betting notes: Since Beal’s season-ending surgery on Feb. 11, the Wizards have won two of four games. They have the second-best 3-point percentage during that time period. San Antonio has three wins in its last four games, but there seems to be value on the underdog with two teams that have similar advanced statistics.

Best bet: Wizards (+110 via Caesars Sportsbook)

Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET

Trends: 76ers 35-23 SU, 28-29-1 ATS, 24-32-2 O/U | Timberwolves 32-28 SU, 30-28-2 ATS, 36-24 O/U
Rest: 76ers 8 days; Timberwolves 0
Key injuries: None
NBA betting notes: James Harden will make his 76ers debut on Friday. Thus, the line moved from Philly as an underdog to a 2-point favorite. Minnesota is just 3-6 SU and ATS on the second half of a back-to-back.

Best bet: 76ers -2 (-110 via DraftKings)

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Phoenix Suns, 9 p.m. ET

Trends: Pelicans 23-36 SU, 28-30-1 ATS, 23-34-2 O/U | Suns 49-10 SU, 33-26 ATS, 29-29-1 O/U

Best bet: Mavericks +6.5 (-110 via BetMGM)

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10 p.m. ET

Trends: Clippers 30-31 SU, 30-31 ATS, 30-30-1 O/U | Lakers 27-31 SU, 26-32 ATS, 32-25-1 O/U
