ESPN issued a public apology for running with a manipulated Ballsack Sports quote stemming from a Ja Morant interview with Taylor Rooks at Bleacher Report:

Alright are we caught up? There’s nothing more I love than people who take themselves way too seriously getting duped. Jacoby having to deliver that statement in his finest Ron Burgundy suit is hilarious. ESPN still can’t figure out this darn internet. Some producer just saw this professional-looking graphic every sports media company uses and jotted it down on their rundown sheet.. Stick to what you know ESPN; pranks and random user generated content.
