These moves should not be considered completely final. Tomorrow, center Ryan Jensen can be placed on short-term injured reserve, which means one of these players could immediately return to the team. Defensive back Logan Ryan is expected to rejoin the 53-man roster and play a significant role in the Bucs’ defense this year. Additionally, some of these cuts will end up on the team’s practice squad. So, there are more moves to make, but Jason Licht, Todd Bowles and the team’s decision-makers are through with the bulk of their roster construction work for now.

Tampa Bay opens the regular season one week from Sunday, heading to Dallas for a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Cowboys on Sept. 11.
