2022 NASCAR Verizon 200 at the Brickyard Super Six Picks

The NASCAR Cup Series is back on the road for a unique road race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This is yet another road course, as the Cup Series is beginning to feel like more of a road course series. We have the latest Verizon 200 at the Brickyard Super Six picks for the race on Sunday.

I like road racing, but NASCAR stock racing doesn’t translate as well as open-wheel racing like Indy and F1. This isn’t to say NASCAR should completely get rid of road racing, but there are two or three too many races a year.

The Verizon 200 at the Brickyard Super Six is a free contest available on the Fox Bet Super 6 app. You won’t have this at a sportsbook or on a website. But, if you want a traditional sports betting experience to bet on the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, we have the best NASCAR betting sites.

There is a free $1,000 pool on the Super Six 6 app for the road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Head below for our best NASCAR Verizon 200 at the Brickyard Super Six picks.

1. Which of these Drivers will finish in the worst position at the end of Stage 1?

(A) Chase Elliott
(B) Kurt Busch
(C) Chase Briscoe
(D) Ryan Blaney
(E) Ross Chastain
(F) William Byron

There is much time to move in a 200-mile race. This is especially true for Stage 1. In other words, qualifying plays a big role in this question. It’s not a guarantee, but is a good place to start.

Chase Briscoe will attract the public for this question, but he was hot in qualifying for P3 on the grid.

Kurt Busch is not racing on Sunday, so he isn’t going to be included. Fox Bet still has him listed, though.

William Byron and Ross Chastain was disappointing in qualifying, as they start P21 and P23 on the grid. They should both move up, especially Chastain who likes road courses.

Chastain has finished in the top-7 in three starts road races, including a win at COTA. He was P4 at Road America in the last road course race. Byron has just two top-10 performances in two of his previous ten attempts on the road.

2. How many Chevys will finish in the Top 10 at the end of Stage 1?

(A) 0-1
(B) 2
(C) 3
(D) 4
(E) 5
(F) 6+

This is the same second question as last week. How many Chevrolet cars will finish in the top-10 at the end of Stage 1?

There are three Chevys in the top-10 on the grid to open the event on Sunday. Tyler Reddick is on the pole while Chase Elliott is P8.

I’m high on Daniel Saurez at Indianapolis and he qualified well enough for P11. Expect him to get involved and should be P7 or P8 going into Stage 2.

Three Chevys is the most logical answer. I don’t see Elliott going anywhere and Reddick will need to get into trouble to fall out of the top-10 by the end of Stage 1.

3. Which of these Drivers will finish in the best position at the end of Stage 2?

(A) Bubba Wallace
(B) Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
(C) Michael McDowell
(D) Ty Dillon
(E) Tyler Reddick
(F) Austin Dillon

This question stretches longer to Stage 2. Who will finish the best going into the Final Stage at Indianapolis Motor Speedway?

Tyler Reddick was fast in qualifying and will start at the front to open the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard.

Reddick has been good on the road, with finishes of P1, P5, P2 in three of his previous four attempts. He won his last attempt at a road course, with a win at Road America.

The most likely option for question three on this Super Six card has to be Reddick.

4. Which Stewart Haas Racing Driver will finish in the Top 10 at the end of Stage 2?

(A) Aric Almirola
(B) Chase Briscoe
(C) Cole Custer
(D) Kevin Harvick
(E) More than one
(F) None

The fourth question features a list of Stewart Haas drivers. This is asking who will be in the top-10. You have the option of going with more than one or none as well.

Chase Briscoe was strong in qualifying for P3. He is expected to be up in the top-10 at the end of Stage 2. Who else could be there, though?

It doesn’t look all that promising for Stewart Haas, but Briscoe could carry the workload on Sunday. That said, I’m going to go slightly contrariant and select none.

Briscoe hasn’t finished in the top-10 in five straight road races, with his best P13 at Sonoma this year. Look for him to finish just outside the top-10 entering the Final Stage.

5. Which manufacturer will have more cars in the Top 10 and how many cars will they have?

Ford

Ford is stacked in the top-10 going into Sunday. There are six Fords opening the race in the top-10 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Austin Cindric and Chase Briscoe represent Ford in the top-3 on the grid. Joey Logano was also solid in qualifying for P5.

Chevy has two drivers in the top-10 on the grid, with Daniel Suarez just out in P11 at the green flag. Ford will be the auto answer for the public in this one.

While I like some Fords in this one, Chevy isn’t going anywhere with Chase Eliott and Suarez. Also, note that Tyler Reddick qualified P1. Let’s go with a tie between Chevy and Ford.

6. Which driver will have the better finish at the end of the race and by how many positions?

Aric Almirola
Kyle Busch

I don’t mind Aric Almirola in a road course race. However, Joey Logano has a good car going into Indianapolis on Sunday. Neither has been particularly good at road tracks recently, though.

Almirola hasn’t finished in the top-10 at a road course since 2019 at Sonoma. This was 15 races ago, so it’s been a while.

Logano has six top-10 performances on the road since 2020. He hasn’t finished in the top-10 in his last three road courses, but Logano has a good car on Sunday. This looks like a good spot for him. Expect him to clear Almirola easily.
