Erosa began his UFC career with three consecutive losses, left the company for one fight to then return emphatically by finishing all opponents who've faced him thus far.

Seung Woo Choi signed with the UFC in 2019 as a hyped prospect, but his first two opponents in the octagon (Movsar Evloev & Gavin Tucker) have a combined record of 20-1. An unfortunate high level of competition during the beginning of his UFC journey was significantly dropped, and now the Korean is happily sat with a two-fight win streak.

Both men rely on pressuring their opponents, throwing balls to the wall when the cage door closes. I've noticed they equally become less effective when put on their backfoot, although Erosa does own the greater counter offence from the two.

Two underwhelming heavyweights will kick off this weekend preliminary card, and I expect this encounter to provide nothing more than a stalemate.

Josh Parisian impressed during his Dana White Contender Series appearance, but a lacklustre UFC debut versus Parker Porter was a fifteen-minute bout that nobody will ever remember.

Roque Martinez (15-7-2) owns the experience advantage in this weekends contest, but again, his first two UFC outings have a lot to be desired.

So, you are probably thinking – why are you paying attention to this content? It's all about the over/under market.

UFC Fight Prediction

Both men have shown great durability on the feet. In a contest where I anticipate both fighters to stand and bang, the over 1.5 rounds for -200 will give us enough value to appreciate in a parlay.

The consensus of heavyweight fighters usually leans towards betting the overs is a danger, but this is simply not true. Once 220+ pound average heavyweight fighters become tired, a slowed down lethargic contest plays out. Seven and a half minutes of Parisian/Martinez exchanging punches with low volume and durable chins, I'll take it.
