Little split on yesterday’s two wagers as the Kings and Sharks reached the six-goal mark, but the Canucks could not pot three for their team total. Not a lot to talk about. Both were taken late in the day, and the NHL lines did not move much at all.

Tonight is the biggest slate of the week so far. A couple of teams that were also on the sidelines recently are returning to action as well. The progression system also resumes this evening with three positions.

Two are on the Golden Knights side as they enter a two-game head-to-head with the surging Colorado Avalanche. The prices are palpably wrong here. In three years of meetings, Vegas has never been near this probability against the Avs. Despite Colorado’s avalanche of shots recently (swear I did not catch that till after), it is unsustainable. 40 years of results demonstrate this. It’s not to say they cannot take both games convincingly, but we might not get Vegas for this number for the rest of the season unless they take a Buffalo’esque slide.

Get an opportunity to go against the Red Wings for the first time in a little while. I started off the season heavily shooting for pucklines and alternate pucklines against them, only for them to consistently lose 3-2. With the new strategy we are keeping it more straightforward, but that does not mean opportunities won’t be found to still position against some of the worst teams in the league.

I am not too incredibly fond of the spot for the Islanders against a talented Bruins team. New York is in the midst of a four-game winning streak against their new divisional opponent. However, the price for three goals is what it is, and that is value, even if Boston kept the offensive juggernaut of the Sabres to one goal in the last outing.

Totals will be posted about 1-2 hours before puckdrop this evening.

PLEASE READ:

Always risking 1u, never ‘to win’ 1u. If I expose two, that still remains risking 2u, not betting 2.5 to win 1 simply because the price is shorter than what I have. A standard stake here is 1u = 1% of your bankroll. This will keep you in the game instead of busting out every other day because you decided to be stupid and put your entire bankroll down on 8 wagers. If you have worse prices don’t bet more to compensate. Please do not attach my plays in parlays, you are costing yourself extra money trying to cut corners.
