College Football Week 9 Parlay Picks

There’s value to be found this week, even without key teams playing. What’s the best College Football Week 9 parlay?

There’s been college football craziness every week, and normalcy isn’t returning any time soon. Some top teams are on a bye week, but there are plenty of value bets still available.

Several top-ranked squads will face off in Week 9, which will result in a clearer picture of the conference title races. We’ll also be one week closer to the College Football Playoff rankings. Resumes are going to matter this year with so many schools looking to make a late-season playoff push. Teams need to win with style, and desperation is mounting.

Here’s a look at my top parlay picks for the Week 9 college football action (all odds via FanDuel).

Week 9 Parlay Picks

Missouri (-700) vs. Vanderbilt

Missouri is winless in the SEC and on the road. Some would think this bet offers bad value, but I disagree for a few reasons.

While the Tigers may be 0-3 in the SEC, two of those losses were against Texas A&M and Kentucky. Even in the games the school loses, Missouri has played somewhat respectably. The Tigers’ offense is potent and can put up a fight against almost any team.

However, this pick is all about the opposition. Vanderbilt is one of the worst teams in college football history. They have only had a quarterback produce 250-plus passing yards once this season, along with only one 100-plus-yard rusher.

Even if Vanderbilt can force turnovers, it won’t be able to keep this game close. That’s why it’s a perfect parlay play.

Pittsburgh (+350) vs. Miami

Miami may be coming off of an upset win over NC State, but that doesn’t mean the Hurricanes can beat Pitt. The Panthers just knocked off Clemson, and they’re entering this week with momentum after three straight ACC victories.

There are plenty of red flags that Miami is dealing with, and those issues weren’t solved during the win over the Wolfpack. Tyler Van Dyke played well under center, but there’s still a question mark at the position. One game doesn’t prove a signal-caller can save a program.

The Hurricanes kept us from hitting last week’s parlay, but they likely won’t beat a ranked opponent in two straight weeks. The value is fine for a parlay, which is all you can ask for here.

Notre Dame (+178) vs. North Carolina

Has Notre Dame been disappointing this season? Yes. But the Fighting Irish have also gone 6-1, with their only loss coming against a ranked opponent. They might not be great against the spread, but they’ve been churning out wins.

Meanwhile, North Carolina was supposed to be an elite team this year, but the Tar Heels have failed to live up to the hype. They’ll likely struggle early in this game, even after a bye week. The team will be on the road at night, and it’s always hard to play at Notre Dame.

Expect a low-scoring game with the Fighting Irish dominating the time of possession. Their run game is better, and they know how to work the clock. Kyren Williams will lead the way toward another victory at home.

The moneyline here is what gives the parlay value. The other two picks were buffers, but this is what makes it all work.
