UFC in Vegas 14 Parlay Predictions and Picks: The Weekly Punching Parlay

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is back in Vegas with a stacked fight card. The odds are now available for us to delve into some parlay betting picks for this weekend’s UFC event, headlined by Rafael Dos Anjos and ‘The Irish Dragon’ Paul Felder, live this Saturday on ESPN.

Randa Markos vs. Kanako Murata

UFC Female Strawweight Bout

Saturday, October 14, 2020 – 5:00 PM ET, live from the Apex Center in Las Vegas

The Fight

UFC debutant and former Olympic Wrestling champion out of Japan, Kanako Murata, will finally grace a UFC octagon this weekend. The former Invicta strawweight titleholder is currently riding a seven-fight win streak with an 11-1 professional MMA record.

She is back again! Randa Markos is wasting no time in the final quarter of 2020 as she returns after her submission loss against Mackenzie Dern just eight weeks ago. A 10-9 record for Markos should not be overlooked, her failures and wins have come up against the elite females of the UFC roster.

UFC Parlay Pick

The younger, faster, more athletic fighter should prevail this weekend. The trajectory of each fighter's career is on opposite ends, Markos is fighting for her job while Murata is making her debut.

Markos has found a lot of success through her UFC victories by utilizing her grappling advantage. The problem for her is that Murata knows her way around the wrestling mats. Women's Asian MMA has taken the UFC by storm in recent years, and I expect another nod from the judges for the Japanese up and corner.

The available UFC odds are quite steep on Murata considering that she is making her UFC debut, with that said her wrestling offence should cause Markos a problem from start to finish. I do anticipate a Murata win, but our bet will lay with the over 2.5 market.

Geraldo De Freitas vs. Tony Gravely

UFC Bantamweight Bout

Saturday, October 14, 2020 - 04:35 PM ET, live from the Apex Center in Las Vegas

The Fight

One of the most dependable martial art forms to put your money behind is wrestling, so, who better than Tony Gravely for our second parlay choice. Inexperienced in the UFC, yes, but even in his submission defeat to Brett Johns, he fought extensively up until the loss.

His opponent De Freitas is no slouch, but Chris Gutierrez was able to clinch a split decision in his previous fight, and I anticipate a similar outing from Gravely. Reckless abandonment could have cost De Freitas a knockout loss during the third round versus Gutierrez, winging shots and a slower output are a few warning signals to highlight.

UFC Fight Prediction

Excellent scrambles, great offensive wrestling, and a high-level pace supported with good cardio should be enough for Gravely to take a win on the night. I can see cardio playing a huge factor in who takes the win and Gravely has experienced four and five-round fights in the past.

The American Top Team prospect can get back in the win column, and I would not be shocked if we witnessed a technical knockout or submission victory.
