NCAA Football Week 13 Parlay Plays: Bets to Win Big on Friday

Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes

Friday, November 27, 2020 – 1:00 PM EST at Kinnick Stadium

The Iowa Hawkeyes mean business after three straight wins with at least 35 points and a defense that has held all three teams to 21 points or under. Owa is now 3-2 after starting the season 0-2. Meanwhile, Nebraska is 1-3 on the season with their lone win against Penn State, who are 0-5.

Nebraska just lost to Illinois, allowing 41 points and getting pounced on by one of the lower tier teams in the league. There’s no excuses at this point. Nebraska doesn’t have the offense to keep drives alive and win games.

Nebraska is scoring just 21.3 points per game and getting 375.5 yards on offense per game. They’ve been able to run for nearly 200 yards but the passing game is lacking. Meanwhile, the defense has allowed 449.8 yards per game through four games. You’re not going to win Big Ten games doing that.

They’ve allowed 223.3 yards per game on the ground and that’s something Iowa can really exploit. Iowa has one of the best rushing attacks in the Big Ten. The offensive line of Iowa is fantastic and they open up holes and play their role extremely well.

Nebraska’s run defense is brutal. They’re going to have trouble stopping Iowa's run game and Iowa should get some explosive plays and touchdowns in this game.

Last season, Iowa defeated Nebraska 27-24 and hung around but things are different this season. Iowa is averaging 33 points per game and allowing 16 points per game. They’ve had two games where they’ve almost shut out their opponent. The defense has been terrific against the run. They’ve shown solid coverage throughout and have a solid pass rush. Everything about this Iowa defense is exciting.

Even if Nebraska tries running around with Luke McCaffrey, Iowa should be able to wrap him up and tackle him as they’ve been able to tackle really well this season. ALso, keep this in mind. McCaffrey has five interceptions and three came against Illinois last week.

I like Iowa to win this game running the football and don’t believe Nebraska will score anywhere close to 21 points in this game. Look for Iowa on the best sportsbooks.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. North Carolina Tar Heels

Friday, November 27, 2020 – 3:30 PM EST at Kenan Stadium

The line for this game scares me a little bit. Notre Dame, the number two team in the country, is just a 4.5 point favorite against North Carolina.

I don’t understand this. North Carolina has shown fantastic offense this season. There’s no denying this but for how poor the defense is, they shouldn’t get this much respect.

Sam Howell has led North Carolina to one of the best offenses UNC has ever had at quarterback. UNC averages 43.1 points per game and accumulates 563.4 yards per game on offense. 329.9 yards of it come passing and the other 233.5 yards come running the football.

That’s a ridiculous offense, especially playing in a power five conference. However, they’ve needed all the points they could get because the defense has still allowed more than 400 yards on defense, with 151 yards on the ground per game.

This game might be a reality check for the Tar Heels. Notre Dame allows just 304.1 yards per game on defense with 85.1 yards on the ground per game. Don’t think UNC can just run down the field on Notre Dame every drive.

Notre Dame has one of the best defenses in college football. They’ve shown off their rushing defense along with a very solid secondary that has shut down some of the better receivers in the game.

On offense, Notre Dame averages 37.6 points per game and allows just 16.6 points per game. Offensively, Notre Dame can run the football very well and the reality is, the offensive line of Notre Dame is far superior compared to the front seven of UNC.

Notre Dame will move piles and protect their quarterback in Ian Book, who hasn’t made many mistakes this season, throwing 11 touchdowns and one interception. Book is also good for a couple big runs per game as well.

North Carolina’s last game was a 59-53 win against Wake Forest. Yes, they allowed 53 points to Wake Forest. And Wake Forest is a solid offense.

Don’t get me wrong. But that’s literally how bad North Carolina’s defense is. The 59 points scored was needed from the offense. They’re not putting up 59 against Notre Dame’s defense.
