Washington Commanders vs Philadelphia Eagles Same Game Parlay for the NFC Championship Game at +850 odds

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (5) celebrates after scoring a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth quarter at Raymond James Stadium.

Saturday’s NFL Conference Championship action opens with an intriguing battle in the NFC between the #6-seed Washington Commanders and #2-seed Philadelphia Eagles. The Commanders have exceeded all expectations this season and last week’s win over the Lions was another feather in the cap for Jayden Daniels and the historic rookie campaign he’s having. On the other side, Philadelphia is now the Super Bowl favorite heading into this weekend, and the Eagles should be locked in and eager to exact some revenge on both sides of the ball following a loss to Washington back in Week 16. What will we see in this NFC East matchup on Sunday? It’s almost time to find out. With tons on the line, let’s get into our Commanders vs Eagles Same Game Parlay picks at +850 odds, with the game airing live from 3:00 pm ET on FOX.

Washington Commanders ML over Philadelphia Eagles (+220)

Despite the fact that the historical data doesn’t favor the Commanders in this spot, I’m still interested in taking a shot on Washington to win this game outright, especially since the high total suggests that this should be a high-variance game. It all starts and ends with Jayden Daniels, who has shown tremendous poise and exceptional in-game decision-making, as if he’s been in the NFL for a decade. The LSU product’s ability to make plays either with his arm or legs in unconventional ways has been a massive asset for this Washington offense, and he was nearly perfect a week ago against Detroit, throwing for 299 yards, 2 touchdowns and another 51 yards on the ground. No one would have predicted this prodigious climb in the first year of Daniels’ career, but the Commanders are responding to their young quarterback and playing exceptionally well across their roster.

Over on defense, Washington did allow over 500 yards to the Lions a week ago, but the Commanders were able to force Jared Goff into 3 crucial turnovers in the process. These mistakes ultimately cost the Lions the game, and I’m sure that Washington’s defense will be trying to do the same to a hobbled Jalen Hurts on Sunday. Outside of Saquon Barkley’s individual brilliance, Hurts and the Eagles offense have operated in fits and starts in these playoffs, having barely gotten by the Rams a week ago and needing a tremendous defensive effort to knock off the Packers in the Wild Card round. The Eagles quarterback was sacked 7 times against Los Angeles last Sunday, and I could certainly see Dan Quinn and the Washington defensive staff scheming up ways to generate consistent pressure on the skittish quarterback. Ultimately, this Washington team has already beaten the Eagles once this season, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Commanders pulled off yet another upset en route to a Super Bowl appearance.

A.J. Brown anytime touchdown scorer (+155)

While I do like Washington to have a good chance at winning this game outright, one of my favorite prop bets on the board this weekend is for Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown to find the end zone for the 8th time this season. For starters, this works well as a “fade the narrative” play of how poor the Eagles passing attack has been in the playoffs. That has been the dominant point of conversation among the NFL media heading into this game, but I’m expecting the Eagles passing attack (and Brown specifically) to see success in this game against a poor Washington defense. Given the advantages Philadelphia’s offense has in this game, the Eagles should find themselves in the red zone on plenty of occasions. This is also a negatively correlated play, which gives us a bit of value on our parlay, as a Brown touchdown doesn’t necessarily coincide with a Commanders victory on paper. With that in mind, I’ll take a stab on Brown to get free and catch his first touchdown of the postseason.
