Not that we didn’t believe Jeff, but it’s such a ridiculous stat that it needed to be fact checked. Sure enough, yes, it is true. Zeke Elliott had three rushing scores, Rico Dowdle had two, and “Dak is ass” Prescott had one. That’s it. Only six of their 429 carries resulted in touchdowns. The Eagles scored seven on Sunday night, split between Saquon Barkley (3), Jalen Hurts (3), and Will Shipley (1). In fact, Shipley had only one fewer rushing score in the NFC title game than Dowdle (Cowboys leading rusher) had over 16 regular season games.

Looking back, this headline should have gotten us a Pulitzer, or at least a retweet from The Babylon Bee or The Onion:
