Prior to that, he had 12 points in 10 games, including a hat trick during that span.

The Hurricanes are a week away from playing in their first round matchup of the Stanley Cup playoffs. While they don’t ‘need’ this win per se, they do not want to limp into the postseason in a vulnerable spot from a losing streak or losing run. The Hurricanes will bring a solid effort in this game and will lean on their top players to get the team back in the win column. Taylor Hall is on the second line with Jack Roslovic and Andrei Svechnikov, as well as the top power play with Sebastian Aho, Brent Burns, Seth Jarvis, and Jackson Blake. Hall is one of a few players that will be leaned on, and will have a good chance to produce against a struggling Rangers team.
