Pittsburgh Steelers +9.5 vs Baltimore Ravens (-105)
Everything is going right for this Baltimore squad heading into the postseason, but it’s not like Lamar Jackson has been stellar in his playoff career. In fact, the 2-time MVP (and potential 3-time MVP in a few weeks) is just 2-4 in the playoffs while posting a 6-6 TD-to-INT ratio for his career. Additionally, last year’s Wild Card win against the Texans marked the first time Jackson and the Ravens have won by 10+ against a team in the playoffs. Baltimore will likely plan to run the ball early and often, but I expect the Steelers to stack the box and make Jackson beat them with his arm. The Louisville product is just 3-5 against Pittsburgh in his career, carrying an 8-9 TD-to-INT ratio.
I do expect the Ravens to advance to next week’s Divisional Round, but 10 points is too many for this rivalry. Baltimore’s 17-point win in Week 16 marked the first time either team has won by 10+ in 10 meetings, so it was seemingly an outlier. Additionally, the Steelers should get George Pickens going early, as he had just 1 catch for 0 yards in Week 18 and dominated the Ravens when he played them earlier this year, going for 89 yards, 8 receptions and 1 TD. The Steelers are 6-3 against the spread as an underdog this season, and I expect them to keep this game close, or pull off a backdoor cover.

Under 43.5 (-110)
From a game script perspective, Pittsburgh needs to turn this into an ugly game if the Steelers want any chance of winning. First off, this offense has been dreadful the last 4 weeks, as they’ve scored just 14.3 ppg and have put up just 17 and 16 points respectively in their meetings with Baltimore this season. Based on how Russell Wilson and this offense have operated in recent weeks, they will likely find more success throwing the ball than running in this game. With that said, Pittsburgh will need to utilize its rushing attack to keep Jackson and the Ravens offense off the field. Additionally, it feels like Mike Tomlin is close to sitting on the hot seat, and we can expect him and this Steelers coaching staff to have a sound game plan to keep the team alive for as long as possible.
On the other side, this Ravens offense has been humming this season with Jackson at the controls. However, it’s just hard to overlook how poorly Lamar Jackson has played in the playoffs and against this Steelers squad. In 8 career starts against Pittsburgh, the Ravens have put up an average of just 21.5 points per game, and Baltimore has averaged a dismal 16 points per game in his 6 playoff starts. I won’t expect an offensive explosion until Lamar and the Ravens can prove otherwise. With Jackson under center, the Ravens haven’t played in a postseason contest with more than 44 points, and that trend should continue on Saturday.
Mark Andrews anytime touchdown scorer (+135)
Early in the season, much was made of the fact that Jackson and longtime Ravens tight end Mark Andrews seemed to not be on the same page, which led to some very quiet showings for Andrews in September. However, that narrative has completely flipped since the calendar turned to October, as the veteran pass-catcher has found the end zone in six consecutive games and 10 of the last 12 contests overall. Andrews is not quite the same player he was a few years ago, but he’s still as reliable of a target as ever for Jackson in the red zone, especially with Zay Flowers out for this game. We’ll look for Andrews to come up big under the bright lights on Saturday.
