Pewter Pick$ And Props$ – An Upset Is Coming In The NFL Divisional Round!

The Bucs are out of the playoffs but that doesn’t mean the gambling stops! Pewter Report’s Matt Matera makes picks on every single NFL playoff game! The video was made as a short that you can find on our YouTube channel.

This means there’s at least one pick for every NFL game on Saturday and Sunday. It starts off with Texans vs. Chiefs followed by Commanders vs. Lions. The next day is Rams vs. Eagles and then the best game of the weeks, Ravens vs. Bills. Out of these four in the NFL, Matera is calling an upset in one specific game. Bucs Have Faced Most Of The Teams Remaining In The NFL Postseason

Unfortunately, the Bucs were eliminated from the playoffs in the wildcard round following a close game against the Commanders. With eight teams remaining, the Bucs actually have a lot of familiarity with who’s left as Tampa Bay went up against five of them this season. In fact, going back to last year, the Bucs played every team except for the Rams.

Tampa Bay’s record overall in the recent meetings with these teams isn’t great at 5-7. For the 2023 season, they lost to the Bills 24-18 in Week 8, then 39-37 to the Texans the following week in a last second comeback by Houston. They also played against the Lions and Eagles twice, splitting the series, including two playoff games.

This 2024 season, Tampa Bay rattled off some early wins by defeating the Commanders 37-20 in the season opener and found a way to vanquish the Detroit Lions 20-16 in Week 2. Then they took advantage of an injured Eagles team in Week 4, beating them handily 33-16.

The Bucs began to trail off after that as they lost 41-31 to the Ravens, 30-24 at the Chiefs in overtime and then exited the playoffs with 23-20 loss to Washington. They will play against five of these playoff teams next season on their NFL schedule. Tampa Bay will host the Eagles and be on the road for games against the Rams, Bills, Texans and Lions. It’s another good opportunity to show how they measure against teams going deep into the playoffs.
