My midweek football acca will get you £156.95 from a £10 bet

The Premier League season continues apace as the business end of the 2024/25 campaign gets ever closer.

Our recommended acca focuses on five of the matches taking place this midweek, including Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City.

A £10 wager on our three-leg acca would pay out £59.26, while the same stake on our five-leg version offers a potential return of £156.95.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City: Both teams to score (1/3)

The longest active winning streak in the Premier League belongs to Tottenham Hotspur, who have strung together three victories on the bounce.

That is the first time all season they have managed a trio of triumphs in succession, yet Spurs remain in the bottom half of the table and they are still unlikely to qualify for Europe via their league position.

Tottenham are starting to get players back from injury and Kevin Danso, a January loan signing, has made a difference at centre-back.

For all their issues this term, Spurs have continually posed a threat in attack. After two-thirds of 2024/25, they are the division’s second-highest scorers.

Manchester City are third on that list and they could have Erling Haaland back from injury here. This game has goals written all over it.

Liverpool vs Newcastle United: Mohamed Salah to score any time (Evens)

Mohamed Salah is closing in on one of the greatest individual seasons in Premier League history.

The Liverpool forward was at it again on Sunday, scoring one goal and setting up another as his team beat Manchester City 2-0.

Salah has now scored 25 goals and provided 16 assists this term. He leads the Premier League in both categories as Liverpool close in on the title.

Newcastle United were victorious at the weekend, beating Nottingham Forest 4-3, but they have conceded 14 goals in their last five league games.

Eddie Howe’s team will struggle to keep Salah quiet under the floodlights at Anfield. The Egypt international can move up to 26 goals for the campaign – and maybe even more.

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa: Aston Villa to score first (11/10)

Aston Villa came from behind to beat Chelsea on Saturday, boosting their chances of a top-five finish. Yet if they are to qualify for the Champions League, Villa need to improve their record on the road.

Villa rank a lowly 15th in the away table. Only Everton and the bottom four have worse records at opposition grounds.

Thankfully for Unai Emery’s team, Crystal Palace are even worse at home than they are away. Only four sides in the league have collected fewer points in front of their own fans than Oliver Glasner’s charges.

Palace are particularly poor in the early stages of home games, which is somewhat surprising given Selhurst Park is home to one of the best atmospheres in the country.

In 13 matches on familiar soil, Palace have conceded the first goal 10 times. Aston Villa should hit the front on Tuesday.

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal: Under 2.5 goals (8/11)

Eleven points behind Liverpool, Arsenal are surely out of the title race. Even if they were to win all their remaining games, Mikel Arteta’s men would probably finish second.

Arsenal were beaten 1-0 by West Ham United at the weekend. Their failure to score had a lot to do with their weakened frontline.

With Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz all sidelined, Arsenal will have to rely heavily on their defence for the remainder of the season.

After shipping four goals to Newcastle on Sunday, Nuno Espirito Santo will want to see a more solid showing from his Nottingham Forest side here.

Seven of Forest’s 12 home games in 2024/25 have featured under 2.5 goals and this one is likely to follow suit.

⚽ Tip under 2.5 goals at 8/11 with bet365 ⚽

Manchester United vs Ipswich Town: Manchester United to win (8/15)

Manchester United looked to be on the way to another miserable defeat when they went 2-0 down to Everton on Saturday.

But the Red Devils staged a late fightback to rescue a point and Ruben Amorim will hope his team can build on that when Ipswich Town come to Old Trafford.

The Tractor Boys are now five points adrift of safety after results went against them at the weekend.

Kieran McKenna’s men desperately need to get more wins on the board having emerged triumphant just three times this season.

United have been poor throughout the campaign but they have more quality at their disposal than Ipswich, so a home win is the way to go.
