The Inquirer published a Matt Breen and Jeff McLane story on Thursday evening titled “Sources: Howard Eskin’s exit from 94.1 WIP came after he shouted at a female employee.” There’s not a ton of information on the incident, which the Inquirer says took place at Chickie’s and Pete’s, but further down was this hilarious passage:
“On the day he announced his departure from WIP, Eskin was spotted at the NovaCare Complex but was denied media access to the building, sources said.
…
Eskin tried to gain entry, mentioning his work with Fox29, but he no longer works for the television station, and the team did not receive an individual request, sources said.”
Fox29? Howard last worked there when Carson Wentz was a rookie. This would be like Scaramucci trying to get into Citizens Bank Park and listing “The White House” as his media outlet.
The thought of Burger King showing up to NovaCare with no credentials and being denied is great comedy. All those years of water carrying for the organization and now he’s the Jamal Adams meme:
What’s especially pitiful, but not at all surprising, is that Howard showed up to the Eagles game even though he has no outlet and no creds:
