That was WILD! Play was halted. It’s a terrible situation. We need to get guns under control blah blah blah. I can’t stop watching the referee absolutely EAT IT!

I’ve watched this a hundred times and I think I laugh harder every time! How did this ref bite the dust? She’s got less awareness than Miles Sanders. Wide open field and she somehow hits the goalie net. Make it make sense. The goalie has a million pounds of gear on and she’s running like a gazelle. This klutz couldn’t even sidestep a giant goal. I hope she’s gotten this video texted to her 15 times today. It’s amazing! For years these players will be talking about the time their game was cancelled because someone got a little wild in a KFC parking lot. I’ll be talking about the ref eating turf.

Now that we got that out of the way I want to school some suburban patriots who are scared to get on the R5 commenting “Typical Temple” under this video. Of course Temple is going to take the brunt of it because it’s their field. It’s embarrassing that athletes can’t even play a field hockey game without 20 shots ringing out across the street. BUT St. Joes Prep is closer to this field than Temple is! Fairmount, one of the best neighborhoods in the city, is closer than Temple. Don’t let the haters and losers, for which there are many, let facts get in the way of a good dunk attempt on Temple:

Temple’s PR team is in crisis mode and the Prep administrators are enjoying brunch. Where are the “Typical Prep tweets”? It’s crickets out there. This is Temple’s snowballs at Santa. Tired tropes about how dangerous the school is when it’s mostly isolated incidents. But I will not let my alma mater get dragged through the mud while Prep gets a pass. We already let them recruit football players out of New Jersey illegally. Now they don’t have to answer for shootings? How’s that fair? Poor Temple. That’s the headline…and the referee eating turf…twice.
