Trump Celebrity Endorsement Odds: Will Joe Rogan Back Him?

Despite never publicly claiming that he is a Republican, Rogan has the top odds of being Trump’s next celebrity endorser. In 2022, Rogan slammed people who classify him as a Republican — going as far as to say he’s a “bleeding heart liberal” on many topics.

Rogan claims that he isn’t a conservative due to his views on same-sex marriage.

“It’s not just about abortion rights, but now they’re going after gay rights, which is so strange to me,” Rogan said to comedian Andrew Schulz. “Gay marriage is not silly. It’s marriage — it’s marriage from people that are homosexual, and it’s for them. It’s important. They want it. They want to affirm their love and their relationship. And the fact that they’re going after that now almost me feel like they want us to fight…”

Rogan’s comments grew louder as he blasted commentators who called him a “secret conservative”.

“I’m so far away from being a conservative. Just because I believe in the Second Amendment and just because I support the military and just cause I support police [doesn’t mean I’m a Republican].”

Moreover, four years ago, on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan stated that he’s been a liberal his entire life.

Certainly, opinions can change, and he may prefer Trump to Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party. However, from what I’ve witnessed, his viewpoints shift between conservative, liberal, and libertarian.

He’s largely in the center of the political pendulum and can’t be described as either a Democrat or Republican. Although Rogan may very well vote for Trump, there isn’t any betting value on backing him as the next public figure to endorse the former president at these odds!

Guy Fieri (+400)

The Mayor of Flavortown, Guy Fieri, has respectable odds of joining the celebrity Trump supporters in endorsing him.

Fieri has been spotted with Trump at past events — most notably a photo op at UFC 290 in July 2023. He’s also filmed his Food Network show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, with avid Trump supporter Kid Rock. However, Fieri has never given Trump a full public endorsement.

In fact, Fieri has never been a political person that has discussed his beliefs in public. From this perspective, he can be described as being apolitical. That said, does Fieri’s warm greeting to Trump at UFC 290 change anything?

As someone who hasn’t seemed eager to make enemies with potential customers on either side of the aisle, Fieri is unlikely to give Trump a full endorsement for the 2024 Presidential Election. The interaction at UFC 290 was nothing but a brief greeting, so I wouldn’t read too far into what happened.

Yes, Fieri can probably be considered among the list of celebrities that support Trump in this election. However, I don’t expect an endorsement, so you can cross Fieri out from your considerations for this prop bet!

Scottie Scheffler (+400)

PGA golfer Scottie Scheffler is the top-rated player in the world. He has won six tournaments in 2024, and two Masters titles since 2022. There isn’t anything left for Scheffler to accomplish this year, but what about giving Trump a push with an endorsement?

Scheffler has been quiet regarding his political affiliation, but there are indications he is one of the celebrities who support Trump. In an interview with The Fire Pit Collective in 2022, Trump claimed that he has played golf with Scheffler.

“I played with Scottie Scheffler and I played with Tony Romo,” Trump said. “And you might ask them about the round if you want, if you’re with Scottie. I love Scottie. We had a great time. Tony Romo — he’s a very good player, and Scottie Scheffler? I mean, man, he’s very good.”

However, the most telling sign Scheffler is a Trump supporter is that he defied The Open Championship ban at Trump’s Turnberry course to prepare for the major tournament.

The R&A, the governing body of The Open, stated that the tournament won’t be held at Turnberry as long as Trump is affiliated with the golf course.

Nevertheless, Scheffler prepared for The Open there while in Scotland. It’s only a golf course, so it isn’t the most gleaming endorsement of Trump. However, it’s a sign he’s on good terms with the former president!
