There were three yellow cards in the last game between these two sides at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in a clash that saw Arsenal win 3-2.

All three cards came between the 77th and 83rd minute, as many referees take this rivalled clash with a pinch of salt, and try not to brandish too many cards in a game fraught with tackles and challenges.

Similarly, in the game before in the Premier League of the 2022/23 season, six yellow cards were given out, with Tottenham being the main culprits again with four.

The October 2022 clash saw Arsenal win at home 3-1, only three yellows but a red also given out in the 62nd minute to Emerson Royal. The three yellow cards also came late in the game between the 78th minute and 90th.

Tottenham’s last victory against Arsenal, in May 2022, saw Arsenal get frustrated when losing 3-0.

As a result, three yellow cards were given out between the 86th and 90th minute, after Rob Holding picked up two himself to be sent off after just half an hour.
