Footclan, welcome to Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season! This week holds a special place in my heart — back in 2021, Week 3 is where I took down the Milly Maker, and I’m here to help you chase that same success. After two weeks of action, we’ve seen emerging trends, unexpected twists, and evolving roles, but the unpredictability of the NFL means there’s always an opportunity to gain an edge.
This week, we have a perfect storm of opportunity. By now, DFS players are starting to feel confident about player trends, creating more predictable chalk plays. However, this is exactly where we can capitalize. There’s always variance early in the season, and it’s our job to sift through the noise. Injuries, unexpected roles, and shifting game scripts are all in play. This means finding value in those who haven’t exploded yet or leveraging game environments that others are undervaluing. The goal is the same — build smart, differentiated lineups that put us on the path to another big win. Let’s dig into this slate, make sharp moves, and aim for greatness again in Week 3!

Game of the Week – Lions @ Cardinals (DET -3, O/U 52)
This week’s matchup between the Cardinals and Lions is packed with fantasy potential. On one side, Kyler Murray leads an explosive Cardinals offense, fresh off a thrilling performance against the Rams. He clicked early and often with rookie sensation Marvin Harrison Jr., whose remarkable skill set and playmaking ability were on full display as he snagged two incredible touchdowns in the first quarter. The Cardinals also feature tight end Trey McBride, who has shown flashes of brilliance, and the dependable James Conner in the backfield. They’ll look to exploit a Lions defense that has been vulnerable to big plays.
