Draymond Green Over 0.5 Made Threes (-180)

Klay Thompson Over 15.5 Points (-125)

Anthony Davis to Record 2+ Blocks (-290)

Same Game Parlay odds: +406

GS Warriors ML (-180)

Both Golden State and LA have resurrected themselves towards the All-Star break, over the last 10 games they’re 8-2 and 7-3 SU respectively. Recent head-to-head meetings have gone the Lakers side, so I think it’s time for the Warriors to pull one back here. The first meeting went down the wire and LA won by a single point at Chase Center in double-OT. LeBron James played a huge part in that win for LA with 36 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists, but he might not even play on Thursday after re-aggravating his ankle injury.

Golden State is an impressive 6-1 ATS/SU in their last 7 games overall, opposing teams are having a hard time stopping Stephen Curry who is on another one of his famous scoring runs at the moment. The Warriors have knocked down 20 threes in 2 of their last 3 games and at least 17 in 5 straight. When they’re shooting like this, they can beat anyone on any given night, so I’m picking them over the shorthanded Lakers here.

Draymond Green Over 0.5 Made Threes (-180)

Draymond has been on his best behavior since coming back from that suspension a month or so ago. He really picked it up in the last couple of games before the All-Star break, even posting a season high of 23 points in the win at Utah last Thursday. In that game he went 3-for-5 from three-point line, highlighted by a half-court buzzer beater at the end of the 2nd quarter. It was the 4th game in a row in which Draymond had scored at least one three, he’s shot 50% of better in 3 of them. He’s upped his efficiency from the perimeter in January by almost 3% compared to December and by 4.4% this month compared to the previous one. Against the Lakers he’s had a three in 2 of the last 3 meetings, he logged 46 minutes in the first meeting earlier this season. I’m feeling really confident in him this time around.

Klay Thompson Over 15.5 Points (-125)

Klay Thompson is slowly entering the next phase of his career and we are witnessing it in real time. First he took a back seat to the younger players on the roster in crunch time and now head coach Steve Kerr appears to be set on having Klay start games off the bench. Thompson has fully embraced the challenge and responded with a 35 point performance in the win over Utah last Thursday, which was a season high for him. In the win he knocked down 7 threes, but what’s even more impressive is that he took 22 shots in just 28 minutes played. Klay is a type of player that doesn’t need much to get going, and the Warriors would benefit greatly here with some points off the bench. He had 24 points and 6 threes made in the first meeting of the season vs the Lakers, so I’m thinking backing him to get to his season average off the bench isn’t a big ask here. Especially with the Lakers allowing 115.8 points per 100 possessions in their last 10 games (18th).

Anthony Davis to Record 2+ Blocks (-290)

Davis has elevated his game to new heights this year, especially from the standpoint of availability. His production was never in doubt, but with him no longer missing games on a consistent basis, the Lakers are actually being competitive on a nightly basis. Defense is another area he has really made an effort to stuff the stat sheet. AD was one of only 3 players to record a block in that disaster called the All-Star Game on Sunday. Jokes aside though, he’s averaging 3.3 blocks per game in the month of February, plus he’s had multiple blocks in all but one of those games. In the last 10 meetings he’s finished with 2 blocks 8 times, while in the first meeting back in January of this year he recorded 4 of them. If the Warriors three-point shot cools off here, AD will have a field day down low nullifying their attempts to attack the basket.
