MLB Friday parlay at mega +606 odds today 6/7: Braves take care of business

Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies (1) reacts after hitting a home run against the Miami Marlins during the first inning at Truist Park.

The MLB season rolls on today with another exciting full slate of games on the docket on Friday. With the entirety of the league in action, there is plenty to attack and craft an MLB mega parlay. Let’s dive into today’s MLB parlay picks, with games getting underway with the Twins taking on the Pirates at 6:40 pm ET and concluding with the Blue Jays taking on the A’s at 9:40 pm ET. You can also check out all of our MLB picks for today’s action.

Braves -1.5 (-115)

Dodgers first 5 innings ML (-115)

Diamondbacks ML (+102)

MLB parlay odds: +606

For this MLB parlay, I am going with a bet on the Braves to win by multiple runs, along with the Dodgers and Diamondbacks to win. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 over Washington Nationals (-115)

To start off our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Atlanta Braves on the run line. The last time Chris Sale took the mound, the resurgent Braves starting pitcher was annihilated by the Oakland A’s to the tune of 8 earned runs over 4 innings pitched. It was by far his worst outing of the season, which is all the more reason why I love backing the Braves in this spot on Friday against a Nationals team that is vastly inferior, even accounting for the absence of Ronald Acuna Jr. on the Atlanta side. Sale’s 2.73 xERA and top 5 percentile marks in walk rate and hard hit percentage still suggests that the last start was an outlier and he’s due for a bounce-back effort against an NL East foe. Look for Sale to set the tone and for Atlanta’s offense to follow suit in what I expect to be a convincing win for a Braves team that is looking to get on a roll.

Los Angeles Dodgers first 5 innings ML over New York Yankees (-115)

For the second leg in our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Los Angeles Dodgers on the money line in the first 5 innings. You have to give the Yankees credit for how their rotation has performed to this point in the campaign, and Cody Poteet (2.45 ERA) has excelled in his pair of starts for New York this season. However, his xERA and other advanced metrics do suggest that there is a bit of regression coming, especially considering his numbers from 2021 and 2022 (his most recent healthy seasons) indicate that he’s closer to a lifetime ERA of 4.00 type of pitcher than what he’s shown in a small sample size in 2024. On the other side, Yoshinobu Yamamoto continues to get better with each outing and he’ll get to face a Yankees lineup that will likely be without Juan Soto on Friday. I don’t want any part of dealing with the bullpens here, so let’s back the Dodgers in the first 5 innings.

Arizona Diamondbacks ML over San Diego Padres (+102)

To close out this MLB parlay, I have the Arizona Diamondbacks on the money line. Even after performing well in the postseason last fall, Brandon Pfaadt is still a bit underrated in the betting market for my money. His peripherals aren’t anything to write home about on paper, but the right-hander’s expected metrics and advanced numbers are almost universally above average, including a 2.80 xERA that indicates positive regression is on the way. That should start on Friday against a Padres lineup that is slightly above average, but is near the bottom of the league in strikeout rate at this point in the season. I’m expecting a strong effort from Arizona’s bats against Michael King on the other side, so let’s get to the window with the Diamondbacks.
