Jake Paul FaceTimes Alex Pereira after stopping Mike Perry and calling out UFC light heavyweight champion

Jake Paul is already thinking about his next MMA victim.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has built his 10-1 boxing record beating ex-UFC stars Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.

On Saturday night, Mike Perry suffered the same fate as his former colleagues as he was dropped three times en route to a sixth-round stoppage loss to Paul.

With his latest victory, the former Disney actor set up a highly controversial fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson, who hasn’t fought professionally since 2005.

The 58-year-old was originally set to face Paul tonight, but he suffered from an ulcer flare-up and their clash was delayed until November 15.

Even though his 2024 is mapped out, ‘The Problem Child’ used his post-fight interview with veteran MMA reporter Ariel Helwani to call out UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

Paul said: “Mike Tyson, you’re next big boy. November 15 on Netflix. I’m excited for that one.”

“And Alex Pereira, you said you wanna box? I’m the king of this. Come over, we can make it happen.

“Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson let’s make it happen. 100 per cent the Mike Tyson fight is happening, November 15. Mike Tyson is training. He’s back looking crazier than ever.

“I’m gonna get another KO and prove everyone wrong once again.”

Moments later, cameras caught Paul receiving a FaceTime call from Pereira.

It’s currently unclear what was said, but ‘Poatan’ won’t be shying away from the challenge as he’s got a reputation for fighting anyone, anywhere, anytime and at any weight.

The 37-year-old recently stepped up on late notice to save UFC 303.

Conor McGregor withdrew from the card and was replaced by Pereira, who easily defended his belt by brutally knocking out former 205lb champion Jiri Prochazka

Earlier this month, boxing superstar Anthony Joshua urged Pereira to change sports, and the former kickboxer responded by asking AJ for some advice.

“I’m honoured you think so. It’s always been my dream, Pereira tweeted.

“I’m 37, I cannot make a career in it so who do you recommend I fight?”

Joshua replied: “The options are endless champ. I am sure something can be done. Drop 258mgt a line.”

Paul has now put himself forward as a potential opponent for Pereira’s debut.

UFC CEO Dana White is unlikely to sanction the bout as the Brazilian is under contract with him and he has a long-running feud with Paul.

If by some miracle they do fight, Pereira might be the first MMA star to head into a scrap with Paul as the betting favourite.
