Not only are Giants fans upset that Saquon Barkley is now an Eagle, a bunch of them admitted to me they have no more confidence in the team’s ownership. I left NYC after the 28 to 3 win feeling bad for New Yorkers. As I laughed at them and rubbed this Saquon thing in their faces, they all just shrugged and agreed with me. There’s no more pretending things are okay in New York, and Giants fans have accepted that:

Not only do fans have no confidence in the Giants ownership, I’ve got a bunch of them on record saying they don’t like Daniel Jones either. I’m starting to wonder how this team has fans at all. If NYC didn’t have 50 million people living there, that stadium wouldn’t be full. I truly can’t believe these fans are paying $300+ per ticket to watch their team get cooked. The fan next to me was just complaining all game, he wasn’t even mad, only disappointed.
Some of the fan chatter I got on Sunday afternoon:
- “I wish he didn’t go to the Eagles cause he can be back and kicking our ass for years”
- “I saw the Hard Knocks clips… it made me realize why the Giants stink, cause their managements garbage.”
- (when asked about Daniel Jones) “He’s done. He’s Done”
Sunday was a true low point for the Giants. Maybe this rock bottom will spring a happy beginning for them. Because that was a rough watch. Saquon had three separate runs for 35+ yards in that game, going for 55, 38, and 41. The Eagles didn’t even try to stat pad Saquon either, they let Kenny Gainwell and the other backs get plenty of touches. Saquon practically sat the fourth quarter. I respect the team for preserving his legs, but I did need that second Saquon touchdown for my parlay to hit and I never got it.
This win better serve as some momentum for the Eagles, since it’s been too long since they’ve decimated an opponent. You can scream and cry all day that it was against the Giants, but let’s not forget that the line was set a -3.5 for the Birds, and we won by 25.
