Former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall scores brutal faceplant KO as he wins bizarre 2vs1 MMA fight

Eddie Hall’s long-awaited MMA debut ended in brutal fashion in a bizarre 2vs1 event.

The former World’s Strongest Man’s bizarre handicap MMA match was part of a World Freak Fight League event at King George’s Hall in Blackburn on Friday night.

Hall squared off against Jamil and Jamel Neffati – also known as The Neffati Brothers – who are TikTok superstars with millions of followers on the platform.

The Polish-born siblings may have had the numerical advantage, but their opponent massively outweighed them as Hall tipped the scales at 26.2 stone.

Jamil and Jamel weighed just 20.7 stone combined on fight night.

They seemed very aware of the danger in front of them from the first bell.

The Neffati Brothers circled Hall during round one and nothing of note happened until ‘The Beast’ screamed at the pair to ‘Just f***ing do something’.

A booing crowd didn’t change anything in the second stanza. The social media influencers refused to engage again, and Hall was unable to catch them when they ran away.

Round three was total carnage and very much worth the wait.

The brothers finally decided to have a go, but it quickly became clear that they had made a grave mistake when Hall picked one of them up and suplexed him to the floor.

The other tried to wrestle Hall as he knocked the powerbomb victim out cold with one punch when he bounced back to his feet and charged forward.

With one of the Neffati’s snoring face-down on the canvas, the fight was stopped so he could be checked over and carried out of the cage before the fight continued.

Hall quickly dropped the other brother, but he got up and ran away from the strongman, who ultimately caught him against the cage.

A takedown and ground strikes followed before the referee stepped in and declared Hall the winner of the truly strange fight.

Speaking after the fight, one of the brothers reflected on the knockout and said: “It must have been a good punch as I cannot remember anything. People were shouting at me from the crowd and I shouted back you come and f him, see if you can do it!”

Hall has been training for his MMA debut for some time.

Hall completely transformed his body to go from strongman to combat sports

UFC champion Tom Aspinall shared some sparring rounds with the 36-year-old, who was supposed to fight fellow strongman Mitchell Hooper in February.

Unfortunately, that fight got cancelled and he ended up headlining a ‘freak show’ that included a clash between Ed Sheeran and Stormzy lookalikes and a matchup between two dwarfs.

It’s currently unclear if Hall is planning to launch a full-time career in MMA or if this fight will be a one-off like his boxing bout against Thor Björnsson.

Speaking before the fight, Hall said: “Training has been pretty hard, it’s double the cardio. You’ve got two eyes on you and four fists, you’ve got to keep moving all of the time.

“I’ve really struggled to find people as small as them, my 11-year-old son is bigger than the pair of them put together.

“I’m going to knock one of them out, then pick him up and knock the other out with him.”

He is keen on facing another fellow former World’s Strongest Man in Mariusz Pudzianowski.

Hall said: “I think someone like Mariusz Pudzianowski, he’s got 20 years experience in the game.

“He’s still a big guy, still very strong and he is a hard b******, there’s no denying that Mariusz is very hard.

“I think the fans want to see a ‘World’s Strongest Man’ vs ‘World’s Strongest Man’, so there we go.

“If someone can bring the right deal to the table I know Mariusz is game.

“He’s always in my inbox sending me fighting emojis, so maybe this is it.”
