According to entertainment betting sites, Sweden (+600) is the betting favorite to win the 2025 Eurovision Song Competition. As a +600 favorite, Sweden has an implied probability to win Eurovision of 14.3%. It would be the second time Sweden captured the Eurovision crown in three years.
Following the Swedes, Ukraine (+700) has the second-best odds, while Israel (+800) is the third most likely winner in the early Eurovision 2025 betting odds. Ukraine was among the favorites last year but folded late in the contest.
Switzerland (+1500) won the 2024 Eurovision trophy after closing at +700. This year, Switzerland has just a 6.3% implied chance of winning top honors at the Eurovision Song Contest.

In 2023, Loreen was the odds-on favorite to win Eurovision 2023 from the initial stages. She stood above the rest for her song “Tattoo”. There were no discernible weaknesses in her performance. Loreen beat the field as the favorite, but in 2024, Nemo shocked Europe to win with “The Code”.
Since 2012, Sweden has won the Euro Song Contest thrice, the most during that period. Ukraine has an opportunity to join Sweden with three Eurovision titles within the last ten years.

Eurovision 2025 Betting Favorites
Before delving into our top 2025 Eurovision picks, let’s analyze the top three favorites. Note that we will provide updates on the Eurovision odds as soon as performers for each country are released.
Sweden (+600)
Since Abba’s win at Eurovision 1974, the Swedes have consistently pumped out talent to send to the singing competition. In 2023, Sweden won their seventh Eurovision title to tie Ireland for the most all-time.
Sweden’s representative, Loreen, was a heavy favorite to win, and cleared the competition in the Grand Final. It was the second win for Loreen after she captured the award in 2012, too. Sweden has won three titles over the last 12 years, including in 2015 with Heroes by Mans Zelmerlow.
The Scandinavian nation has finished in the top 10 in eight of the previous nine Eurovision Song Contests! Last year, Marcus & Martinus finished ninth in a down year for the country. Who will represent Sweden at Eurovision 2025? As of November, 10 performers are scheduled to compete at Melodifestivalen in March.
The most notable contestants are Zelmerlow and John Lundvik. Zelmerlow is planning on returning to Eurovision after winning for Sweden in 2015. That said, winning twice, like Loreen, is not common. Meanwhile, Lundvik finished fifth with his song “Too Late for Love” in 2019.
Sweden has some powerhouses vying to represent their country at Eurovision 2025, so I can see why they are favored. With experience and talent on their side, Sweden is the country to beat in the preliminary stages for the Eurovision Song Contest!
Ukraine (+700)
Team Ukraine had high expectations going into last year’s Eurovision. Teresa & Maria were favorites at one point to win Eurovision 2024. However, they ultimately finished in third in the Grand Final with 453 points.
Ukraine has won Eurovision three times in its history. The most recent win was delivered by rap artist Kalush Orchestra in 2022. It was a well-deserved win for Ukraine and the first win for the nation since Jamala in 2016.
Teresa & Maria’s third-place finish a season ago was the seventh time Ukraine was in the top 6 since 2011. In addition to the three victories, Ukraine has been a runner-up twice at Eurovision. They typically bring a solid showing to the song competition, so the Ukrainians must be considered a threat again this season.
The artist and song for Ukraine will be selected in February at Vidbir 2025. Currently, the complete list of names of the artists has not been revealed to the public. However, Ziferblat, Polina Dashkova, and ENLEO are worth keeping tabs on. The entry will be determined by a jury/fan vote system.
Given their past success, Ukraine will have a seat at the table in the late stages of Eurovision 2025!
Israel (+800)
The Israelis came on hard and emerged as one of the main threats to win Eurovision 2024. Per the latest Eurovision 2025 odds, Israel will be in the running again this year.
In 2024, Eden Golan reached the top 5 with 375 points. A year earlier, Noa Kirel finished with 362 points and a top 3 performance. It’s the first time Israel recorded a top 5 effort since winning the competition in 2018.
Overall, Israel has won Eurovision four times in 1978, 1979, 1998, and 2018. It would be difficult for online betting sites to not include Israel as one of the favorites to win in 2025. I expect them to be a Grand Final threat, so +800 odds to win Eurovision appear about right.

In addition to the favorites, there are a couple of underdogs worth keeping in mind for your Eurovision 2025 predictions and picks. These two selections include a ton of betting value, so we suggest considering them for your best Eurovision bets at great odds:

Italy (+1500)
The Italians at +1500 is one of the best bets to back for Eurovision 2025. I anticipated Italy being +800 or +900 to win, so I will gladly take Italy to win at this generous price.
Italy is aiming for its fourth title at Eurovision — most recently winning in 2021 in Rotterdam. “Zitti e buoni” brought it home for the Italians, and possibly a new act could follow his lead. On February 15, an artist will be selected in San Remo to represent Italy.
Two possible candidates are Gaia and Elodie. Both are well-known pop artists in the country and have the “it” factor to carry them far at Eurovision. Either has a great chance with a catchy song and likely strong staging, so Italy is a top bet at +1500!

Finland (+2000)
Finland hasn’t had as much success as Nordic neighbor Sweden, but they should bring a lot of energy to Eurovision in 2025. A record-breaking 485 entries were submitted for the Eurovision qualification show UMK.
Could one of them break the drought since rock band Lordi won in 2006? Lordi is one of the most unique winners of the competition. However, Finland hasn’t made as much of an impact since then. They did come close in 2023 with Cha Cha Cha by Kaarija, though.
No one was beating Loreen that year, and Finland had runner-up honors. Additionally, Finland’s Blind Channel went to the semifinals in 2021 and finished sixth.
With Finland having a huge pool of 485 artists competing to go to Eurovision, the competition should be immense! At +2000, Finland is on my radar for the best Eurovision 2025 bets.
Eurovision 2025 Predictions and Betting Pick
Sweden is the favorite to win, and with a former winner and fifth-place finisher striving to qualify, the odds are going to favor the experience. As one of the most accomplished countries in Eurovision history, the Swedes are always going to be a threat to win.
They typically like to play it safe, which appeals to the jury in voting. Expect Sweden to have another serious contender selected to go to Basel for Eurovision 2025. I am also looking forward to seeing who goes to Eurovision to represent Ukraine.
ENLEO and Paulino Dashkova already have star power, and after failing to qualify from Ukraine last year, Ziferblat is one to watch.
They finished second in the National Selection behind Teresa & Maria last year, so there is a definite appeal. They looked slightly stiff on stage, but another year of experience could do the trick.
Known for sending unique talent to Eurovision, Ukraine will have another strong presence regardless of their choice. In 2025, they have some artists with catchy music that should appeal to a larger audience, too. In short, Ukraine is my way too early pick to win Eurovision 2025!
