There was a reason why the Chargers weren’t letting him interview with any teams until Jim Harbaugh was hired and then immediately gobbled up three days later.
You’ll look at the Chargers offensive numbers and see 21st in scoring, 18th in yards per game, and middle of the pack in 3rd down conversions and red zone scoring %. They’re not going to jump off the page compared to what the Eagles did in 2023 offensively. But then again the Chargers had Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen miss four games and Austin Ekeler with three. Brandon Staley got canned after a 63-21 game on Thursday Night Football so who knows what that locker room was like the rest of the season or the entire season really.
The Eagles requested an interviewed with Moore for the head coaching job after Doug Pederson was let go. Now Howie hires two coordinators he’s had a history with. Gonna be interesting if the offense looks amazing and the Eagles make a deep run this season and a team tries to poach Kellen Moore. Do the Eagles let another offensive mind go or will they sacrifice Sirianni?
