Wow the 10 year anniversary for the Villanova championship team is going to be awkward. Looks like Donte DiVincenzo wasn’t too happy he was split up from his best friends on the Nova Knicks and the culprit is Patrick Ewing:

Now the Internet originally thought DiVincenzo was talking to Thibs. But at the end of the game he had to be separated from Patrick Ewing.

In typical Internet fashion story was entirely wrong. It turns out he was joking with Thibs about not being able to finish and then directed his anger to Rick Brunson, which was not a joke:

He clarified further that he wasn’t talking to Thibs after the game and he never said thanks for the trade:

So is Rick Brunson secretly the straw stirring the drink in New York? Is he running this team like an AAU dad who gets all of his son’s friends to play and making shady deals on the side? Is he going to be running the show when the organization sours on Thibs after he runs these guys into the ground a season after a grueling playoff run? I can’t wait for the stuff to leak out after Littlefinger Brunson starts working behind the scenes. This is exactly what we need. Internal turmoil in the Knicks org. How are they going to handle a little taste of success and the scrutiny of the NY media when all eyes will be on them after the MLB postseason.
