The Tampa Bay Bucs find themselves in the middle of a downhill spiral after losing consecutive weeks.
Unfortunately for the Buccaneers, they find themselves facing a terrifying opponent this week as they will have to play the NFL’s only undefeated team, the Kansas City Chiefs, on the road at Arrowhead Stadium for a Monday Night Football primetime matchup.
Oddly enough, despite Tampa’s 4-4 record, the team has proven itself to have grit and did so on the road
against the Detroit Lions back in Week 2 when it handed that Super Bowl contender its only loss of the season, and it will need to keep that same upset mentality to have a chance this week in Kansas City.
Bucs RB2 Bucky Irving Plagued By a Season-Long Injury?
It’s been well-established that the Bucs will be fielding a depleted wide receiver core after losing stars Mike Evans and Chris Godwin back in Week 7, but those aren’t the only skill position players dealing with injuries.
Rookie running back Bucky Irving popped up on last week’s injury report with a toe injury, which is something head coach Todd Bowles said has plagued him since he was in college. Following that revelation, Bowles also shared how that will impact him for the rest of this season.
“Bucky will practice toward the end of the week, but he’ll have this problem all year long,” Bowles said. “We’ll limit him during the week so he can play in the games.”
With that, here is the Bucs injury report after Thursday:
