Best NHL Parlay Picks Today, Saturday 1/6: 3-Leg Parlay at mega (+909 odds) Bruins bounce back in Boston

It’s a Saturday in January, which means one thing – NHL action all throughout the day. Thursday night’s 13-game slate was one of the most exciting of the season, and we have another 12-game slate today. That includes two afternoon matchups, and we’re here to get you set for the full day of action with our best NHL parlay picks.

Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

NHL Parlay Picks (1/6)

Bruins 3-way ML (-105)

Wild -1.5 (+180)

Canucks vs. Devils Over 6.5 (-115)

Parlay odds +909

Boston Bruins 3-way ML (+115) over Tampa Bay Lightning

We aren’t going to be targeting either of the afternoon games, but each of our NHL parlay picks are focused on the earlier slate of evening matchups. One of those features 2 of the premier franchises over the past several seasons, which is an Atlantic Division rivalry between the Bruins and Lightning. Fans recently saw Boston in one of the most exciting games of the season against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night, and although it was ultimately a 6-5 loss, we’re trusting them on home ice.

Tampa is working their way back up the standings after starting the season without goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, but Boston still sits atop the division. It was the Bruins that won the season series 3-1 last season, and we all saw the record-setting year they went on to have. Brad Marchand has done a fantastic job taking over as the new captain, while the Lightning have been a part of far too many headlines discussing Steven Stamkos’ contract. With how well Boston plays in TD Garden, they’re the first leg of our NHL parlay picks.

Minnesota Wild -1.5 (+180) over Columbus Blue Jackets

While the Bruins and Lightning have been the class of the Eastern Conference, the Blue Jackets have been among the worst the past few seasons. Hopes were that acquiring Johnny Gaudreau last season would turn things around, but injuries plagued them. This season, it’s more about the other skaters they either lost or traded away, and yet again very poor goaltending. Columbus is allowing the 3rd-most goals per game, so whether they’re at home or not, it’s simply too much for it to be a factor.

Admittedly, the Wild are not a team that should be hovering around .500, but the Jackets provide a great spot for them to get on a hot streak. As we await the return of Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello for Minnesota, we don’t expect either team to light the lamp very often. So, the difference maker in this matchup is the goaltending, as the Wild at least have the experience of Marc-Andre Fleury between the pipes. Don’t expect it to be the most electric game of the day, but it should still be the Wild that takes care of business.

Canucks vs. Devils over 6.5 goals (-115)

A matchup that we do expect to be exciting from start to finish is the last leg of our NHL parlay picks. The Canucks came out of the gates hot this season and haven’t cooled down in the slightest. They’re still the highest-scoring team in the league, even above Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche and Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers. As for the Devils, they aren’t having the incredible season we saw last year primarily due to goaltending issues – they’re allowing the 5th-most goals per game so far this season.

Vancouver has been strong in that regard, but there is another factor as to why New Jersey hasn’t been as great: injuries. Jack Hughes missed significant time, but he’s been healthy for quite some time, so we still trust their offense on home ice to penetrate the ‘Nucks defense. Jack did great the last time he faced his brother, Quinn, and even his teammate and younger brother, Luke, performed well. The brother trio helped these teams score 11 goals nearly exactly a month ago, and we expect plenty of goals tonight as well.
