Best NFL Player Props This Sunday – Week 3

DJ Moore Anytime TD (+150)

No starting rookie quarterback has thrown a touchdown pass yet this NFL season. I think that will change this weekend. Who better to break that streak than first-overall pick and ROTY favorite Caleb Williams?

Williams and the Bears will face a struggling Colts (0-2) team in Indianapolis this weekend. The Bears’ franchise quarterback has plenty of talent to work with, but I think it will be his WR1, DJ Moore, to catch a TD this weekend.

I believe Moore is one of the best TD scorer bets to place today. Bovada has Moore listed at +150 to score at least one touchdown this weekend. A rushing touchdown would also satisfy this wager.

Moore is one of the top wide receivers in the NFL, and he had a career-high nine total touchdowns last year. Eight of Moore’s TDs last season were receiving, and he scored once on the ground. I believe Moore and Williams will both end their TD droughts this weekend, with Moore finding the endzone against the Colts.

Josh Jacobs 1st TD Scorer (+480)

Another TD scorer bet on my list of the best NFL player props available today is for Packers running back Josh Jacobs to be the first TD scorer of the game. Green Bay faces the Titans this weekend in Tennessee.

The Packers upset the Colts last week despite having Malik Willis as their starting quarterback. Jacobs was a major part of the Packers’ success as Green Bay’s offense revolved around the running game with Jordan Love out due to an MCL sprain. He had 32 carries for 151 rushing yards, but Jacobs is still without a touchdown this season.

There is a chance Love returns for Week 3, but even if he is in the lineup, the Packers will likely take a run-heavy approach. With that in mind, I think Jacobs will not only score but will be the first player to score in this cross-conference matchup.

Secure sportsbooks have Jacobs listed at -143 to score at least one touchdown this weekend. You can boost your odds from -143 to +480 by betting on Jacobs as the first scorer. Jacobs has the second-best odds of any player in this prop market, behind only Titans’ RB Tony Pollard (+440).

Alvin Kamara Over 14.5 Carries (-123)

Another running back on my list of the top player props for Week 3 is Alvin Kamara. The Saints dominated the Cowboys last week due mainly to Kamara’s excellent performance on the ground. He could be in line for another big week this Sunday against the Eagles.

Bovada’s NFL player prop projections for Week 3 have Kamara listed at over/under 14.5 carries. He has had at least 15 carries in both games this season, so this one of the best NFL player props to make today.

The Eagles’ run defense has not been great this season. They allowed Josh Jacobs to earn 84 yards on 16 carries (5.25 YPA) in Week 1, and Bijan Robinson gained 97 yards on 14 carries (6.3 YPA) on Monday Night Football. New Orleans has a run-first offense centered on Kamara, and I believe he will get at least 15 carries this weekend.

Andy Daltons Over 0.5 Interceptions (-127)

One of the most surprising developments of the season so far is the benching of Bryce Young. The Panthers’ quarterback’s struggles from last year continued this season, and Carolina decided to make a change. With Young on the bench for now, the Panthers will start journeyman quarterback Andy Dalton this week against the Raiders.

Dalton is a veteran and should give the Panthers a chance to evaluate the rest of their offense. However, Dalton’s best days are far behind him, and Carolina is a massive underdog on the road this weekend. Bovada has Dalton listed at -127 to have over 0.5 interceptions in its latest NFL Week 3 player props.

Since signing with the Panthers in 2023, Dalton has only appeared in four games with Carolina, including one start, and hasn’t thrown an interception. However, he played 33 games for three teams from 2020-2022 and threw 26 interceptions over that period. I believe he will throw one this weekend against the Raiders defense, and this is one of the best NFL player props to make tonight.

Lamar Jackson Over 54.5 Rushing Yards (-118)

Speaking of Jackson and the Ravens, they face a tough challenge this week in Dallas against the Cowboys. Both teams need a win to get their seasons back on track, and I believe Jackson will rely heavily on his legs to get the job done.

Jackson is listed at over/under 54.5 rushing yards in the updated NFL player props for Sunday. He had just 45 rushing yards against the Raiders, but Jackson racked up 122 rushing yards against the Chiefs in Week 1.

Dallas’s run defense was terrible in Week 2, and Jackson should be able to exploit the same weakness that Kamara did last week. I think Jackson will have at least 55 yards on the ground when it is all said and done.

James Conner 1+ TDs and Arizona Wins (+213)

James Conner has been on the best anytime TD scorer bets every week since he joined the Cardinals. Conner has 31 touchdowns in his 43 career games since joining Arizona. He has also scored once in each game this season.

Arizona is favored this weekend at home against the visiting Detroit Lions. Conner should be a big part of the game plan this Sunday.

You can bet on Conner to score at least once and for Arizona to win at +213 odds. The Cardinals are underdogs at home, but they have started hot in both games this season, including a blowout win against the Rams. I believe the Cardinals will win, and a touchdown from Conner will be part of the reason why.

Patrick Mahomes 29+ Rushing Yards (+141)

A matchup pitting the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Atlanta Falcons headlines Week 3 on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs are 2-0 after securing two close wins to start the year. Atlanta improved to 1-1 after a last-second game-winning drive against the Eagles in Week 2.

The Falcons’ defense did just enough to win in Philadelphia but struggled to contain the run. Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts had 85 rushing yards on 13 rush attempts. I think Patrick Mahomes can also have a productive day rushing against Atlanta.

Mahomes is not nearly the runner that Hurts is, but his scrambling ability has helped Kansas City win three Super Bowls. Bovada has the QB listed at over/under 18.5 yards for this game, but there is an alternate prop for Mahomes to have 29+ yards (+141). I believe he will have ample opportunities to scramble and rack up at least 30 yards on the ground.
