Best NBA Parlay Picks Today, Sunday 1/14: 3-Leg Parlay at mega +1154 odds – LaMelo Ball shines in South Beach

Last night we cashed on both our NBA Parlay and NBA Mega Parlay, at slightly reduced odds due to the Bucks pick ending in a push (spread was -11, they won by exactly 11 pts). With that type of momentum we head into Sunday, a total of 10 teams will hit the NBA hardwood to close out the week. I’ve picked out my 3 favorite selections, continue reading below to see them!

CHA Hornets ML (+250)

CHA Hornets ML vs MIA Heat (+250)

The return of LaMelo Ball didn’t yield the result Hornets fans were hoping for in his first game back, but Charlotte gets another chance tonight as they face the injury riddled Miami Heat on the road. Miami did win all 3 meetings so far this season (by single digits), but LaMelo played in only one of those games. Adding him back into the mix will be huge for the Hornets moving forward, he is the engine of this team and they’ll go only as far as he takes them.

Kevin Love, Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler are all questionable to play here. That’s nothing new though as the Heat have had problems all year long with players going in and out of the line-up. Despite being one of the top teams in the Conference, they’ve not covered the spread all that often at home going just 7-11 ATS this season. In the win over Orlando a couple of days ago they scored just 8 threes, if we see another poor shooting display I think the Hornets are capable of pulling off the upset here. Let’s try our luck with the +250 Money Line on Charlotte.

LA Clippers -1.5 vs MIN Timberwolves (-112)

LA has been arguably the hottest team in the NBA in the past 2 months or so, only 2 games separate them from the number 1 seeded Timberwolves atop of the Western Conference. Tonight’s game will be a huge test though as Minnesota has the edge in the last 5 meetings winning 4 of them and covering 4 times as well. The Clippers will be optimistic though as they’re 9-3 SU in their last 12 on the road, plus they’ve won 8 of 9 overall and 12 of 14 vs Western Conference opponents.

Minnesota’s lead atop of the West has melted slowly, they now share the top spot with OKC at 27-11 SU. Their main guy Edwards is uncertain if he’ll play here, due to a left knee contusion. He had just 9 points in the win over Portland the other day, which is way below his season average of 25.8 points per game. In the underdog role the Timberwolves are just 4-6 SU this season. The high scoring Clippers are the team to beat right now in the NBA, they’re at full strength here. In their last 3 outings they’ve put up 128, 126 and 138 points. I think they get the job done on the road.

PHX Suns -10.5 vs POR Trail Blazers (-112)

And to finish off the Parlay I have the Phoenix Suns beating the Portland Trail Blazers by double-digits. I was really impressed with what I saw from the Suns in the win over the Lakers the other day. Bradley Beal stole the show with 37 points on 8-for-10 from three-point land, while Devin Booker added 31. Kevin Durant had just 18, but his team still won by double-digits, that tells you everything you need to know.

Portland has been a disaster all year long, but especially in their last 3 games losing by 28 to the Knicks, by 62 to the Thunder (5th highest margin in NBA history) and by 23 points to Minnesota. They’ve got just 1 win in their last 7 games, they’re 1-6 ATS in those 7 games, plus in their last 5 against Western Conference opponents they’ve failed to cover the spread. I’d be really surprised if the Suns didn’t win by more than 10 points here. Their big 3 is healthy and playing well, building chemistry will benefit them later in the season, so I think they take this game seriously and extend the Blazers misery with another big win.
