The betting odds for 2024 AEW Double Or Nothing are available, so it’s time to explore them for value! The event will take place on Sunday, May 26, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The sixth installment of AEW’s flagship PPV promises end-to-end action, with multiple matches that I cover in this article. Keep reading to learn about the confirmed fights, the latest odds and breakdowns, and my top AEW Double Or Nothing predictions and best bets for 2024.
Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Moné Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick
All odds in this article are courtesy of BetUS.
- Mercedes Moné (-475)
- Willow Nightingale (+285)
Mercedes Moné is finally ready for her debut in AEW. After a highly publicized exit from WWE, she is favored to defeat the current AEW TBS Champion—Willow Nightingale (+285). The two faced each other for the inaugural New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) STRONG Championship on May 21, 2023. Moné broke her ankle during the match, enabling Nightingale to capitalize on the injury and become the title’s first champion.
Moné has been out of action since then, fighting to return from what doctors told her was a career-ending injury. She worked hard to rehab her ankle and will now face the woman who beat for the NJPW STRONG title—Willow Nightingale. The champ has been pushed hard in recent weeks, winning 9 out of her last 10 singles matches and 7 out of her last 10 tag team matches.
Nightingale will put her AEW TBS Championship on the line against Moné under the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip, but can she defeat the returning Moné? As much as I love Willow and think she will be a big player in the women’s division for many years to come, a victory for Mone just fits her storyline so well.
I predict that Mercedes Moné will leave AEW Double or Nothing 2024 as the next AEW TBS Champion. The odds are also good enough, so I’m backing her with a betting pick.
Toni Storm vs. Serena Deeb Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick
- Serena Deeb (+600)
- Toni Storm (-1200)
At a whopping -1200, Toni Storm is heavily favored to retain the AEW Women’s World Title against “The Professor” Serena Deeb at +600. While the challenger is one of the most technically proficient competitors on the AEW roster, Storm is on her own level at the moment.
The champion is on a 12-match win streak that includes singles and tag-team victories over former AEW champs Thunder Rosa and Riho, as well as over former 3x Impact Knockouts Champion Deanna Purrazzo.
A $10 bet on Serena Deeb would return $70 if she wins, while $10 on Toni Storm would bring only $.83 in profits on top of your initial wager. And yet, it’s really hard to bet against the favorite here, so I recommend avoiding this match.
The AEW Double or Nothing odds for Storm are not high enough for a wager, while Deeb’s highly unlikely to win.
Swerve Strickland vs. Christian Cage Prediction
Swerve Strickland beat Samoa Joe for the AEW World Title at AEW Dynasty back in April and has been on a tear ever since. He’s looking to continue the hot streak that’s seen him defeat Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage, and The Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli.
Standing in his way is former TNT Champion Christian Cage, who was a TNA Heavyweight Champion, NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and 4x WWE Intercontinental Champion, among many additional accolades.
Despite the fact that Cage has a decades-long track record of winning big title matches, Swerve recently won his first world championship, and I don’t expect him to lose it anytime soon. The writers likely want to build his storyline as a champ before going in another direction.
Roderick Strong vs. Will Ospreay Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick
- Roderick Strong (+300)
- Will Ospreay (-500)
BetUS heavily favors Will Ospreay (-500) to go over Roderick Strong (+300) at Double or Nothing, and it’s easy to see why.
After spending several years under the tutelage of Kazuchika Okada in his NJPW-based Chaos faction, Ospreay is now one of the most complete performers in the entire industry. He’s scaled back on his death-defying maneuvers, saving them for when they’ll be most effective.
His hard work and perseverance enabled him to capture the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in April of 2021; arguably the most prestigious title in all of wrestling.
The promotion has invested a lot in Ospreay, so it only makes sense for his rise to continue. The AEW writers will most likely use Roderick Strong as an excellent stepping stone, so I’m backing the favorite here.
