The latest odds confirm that the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year Award will be the hardest to predict in 2025. While the MVP award is primarily a quarterback award, the OPOY award can go to RBs, WRs, TEs, and QBs. Sometimes, the MVP will win this award too, just like Patrick Mahomes did in 2018.
Last year, the award went to Christian McCaffrey after he totaled over 2,000 yards from scrimmage. Voters tend to give this award to the most outstanding statistical season from a non-QB (unless a quarterback has an outrageous year). That makes it very hard to predict which player will have a massive season and take home this award year over year.
However, we are going to look at the favorites of the top NFL betting sites and a few sleepers who could take home the trophy next season. Without further ado, here are our latest odds and predictions for next year’s NFL Offensive Player of the Year award!

It’s not a surprise to see a lot of big-name running backs and receivers on this list. Voters love raw stats and players like Christian McCaffrey, Tyreek Hill, and Justin Jefferson all post big stats every year.
However, there are some surprising names on the list, including one backup QB. BetUS has plenty of other players listed, too, so I encourage you to visit the sportsbook before you place your bets for Offensive Player of the Year.
In April, San Francisco 49ers’ running back McCaffrey opened as the +700 betting favorite to win the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award in 2024-25. In mid-July, he has the same odds to repeat as the winner at +700. Currently, McCaffrey has an implied probability of 12.5% at BetUS.
NFL Offensive Player Of The Year 2024-25 Betting Favorites
The NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds showcase a few favorites, so let’s start with them.
Christian McCaffrey (49ers): +700
McCaffrey took home this award last season after totaling 2,023 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns for the 49ers in 16 games. Such an insane production was always going to land him the award.

While it’s hard to envision him posting those numbers again in 2024, everything is set up for him to have another huge season. However, with a ton of work on his body, the 49ers might try to limit his regular season touches to keep him fresh in the playoffs.
McCaffrey has had a busy offseason, but it didn’t involve the football field. He was named the cover athlete for Madden 25 — the first 49ers player to receive the accolade.
Also, McCaffrey recently got married to Olivia Culpo prior to the start of training camp.
He didn’t report to OTAs, though it wasn’t contract-related. Nevertheless, if you add the fairly low odds, it might be a good idea to look elsewhere for the upcoming season.
Tyreek Hill (Dolphins): +800
Tyreek Hill made it known that his goal was to reach 2,000 receiving yards in 2023. He came up 200 yards short, mostly due to a high-ankle injury that limited him to finish the season.
Hill is entering this season without any issues regarding his contract. He is confident that the organization will get it right when the time comes. However, Hill believes that his quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, deserves to be one of the highest-paid players in the NFL.

Having these two on the same page is a great sign for Hill’s output this season. They have a quality relationship and solid rapport on the football field. That hasn’t changed in the offseason.
If Hill is healthy, he is certainly capable of accomplishing the goals he set himself in any given season in Mike McDaniel’s offense. He also scored 13 touchdowns last season and it’s not hard to imagine that he could do it again in 2024.
CeeDee Lamb (Cowboys): +900
Lamb had a breakout season in 2023, leading the NFL in receptions with 135. He recorded a career-high 1,862 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. It’s hard to imagine Lamb repeating those stats, especially with all of the uncertainty on the offensive line for the Cowboys.
However, Lamb is one of the league’s best receivers and is a near-lock to record 100 total yards each week. His consistency makes him a strong contender for the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award in 2024-25.

Lamb is currently in the midst of a contract dispute with the Cowboys, though. He is prepared to forego training camp if he and the team can come to an agreement.
Earlier this year, he skipped mandatory spring OTAs and was subsequently issued a $100,000 fine as a result. In any event, I wouldn’t be too concerned regarding this situation.
The Cowboys need Lamb on the field, and there will likely be a resolution during training camp. After recording the second-most receiving yards in the league in 2023, Lamb could be even more dangerous this year!
Top Offensive Player Of The Year Sleepers For 2024-25
Of all the major awards, this is the one that produces the most out-of-nowhere winners. Cooper Kupp, Michael Thomas, and DeMarco Murray were some of the most surprising players recently. With that in mind, here are a few sleepers that have the potential to snatch the award next season.
-
Robinson had a really nice rookie season with the Falcons, totaling over 1,400 yards and scoring eight touchdowns. He achieved that in Arthur Smith’s archaic offense and without a stable QB!
Now, Robinson will play with Kirk Cousins and the new hot-shot OC Zac Robinson. This should be a more wide-open offense that should allow Robinson to see more work in the red zone.
Robinson averaged 4.6 yards per carry on the ground last season, but it was clear that they were trying to ease him into the offense. Expect the Falcons to lean heavily on Robinson in Year 2 and for him to come close to 1,800 yards from scrimmage and 14+ touchdowns.
Since backing Robinson at +2800 in April, his NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds have shortened significantly to +1600. Despite less betting value on the board, Robinson still remains a decent sleeper to win the award at his current price.
-
Nacua took the league by storm as a rookie, racking up over 1,500 yards as he quickly became a favorite of Matthew Stafford. The youngster should be in line for even more work this season and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see his touchdown total double (six last season).

With Cooper Kupp aging and starting tight end Tyler Higbee set to miss the first half of the season with a knee injury, Nacua will be the focal point of the offense for the Rams. That could mean some historic numbers from him in Year 2.
For my 2025 Offensive Player of the Year predictions, Nacua is a strong pick at +2500. I grabbed Nacua at +2800 a few months ago, but the current price is still good.
-
New York Jets’ wide receiver Garrett Wilson is another player with his odds on the move. He opened as a +4000 longshot at sports betting sites, but Wilson’s odds to win NFL Offensive Player of the Year have enjoyed a nice jolt.
Public sentiment is up on Wilson, as he is now +2500 to win the award. Despite less-than-ideal QB play, Wilson has managed to be productive in his first two seasons with the Jets. However, with Aaron Rodgers expected to return by Week 1, everything is set up for Wilson to have a huge year.
Entering Year 3, Wilson is one of the most exciting receivers in the league. And with Mike Williams recovering from an ACL injury, there is nothing stopping Wilson from seeing 175+ targets from Rodgers. If he can get to 1,500 yards and double-digit touchdowns, he will be in the running for this award.
2024-25 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Prediction and Betting Pick
The Offensive Player of the Year award is a very difficult one to predict, so the best strategy here is to take a longshot on a good offense. The Falcons are expected to be a playoff team in the NFC South and the addition of Kirk Cousins should make this a much more explosive offense.
Bijan Robinson could see upwards of 350 touches and could score 15+ touchdowns in the upcoming season. Backing a contender of this caliber at +1600 is good value, so that’s my betting pick for NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
