Pep Guardiola’s defending champions have now closed the gap to the Gunners to just two points and they still have two games-in-hand.

City produced a brilliant display to dismantle the leaders at the Etihad on Wednesday night, winning 4-1 thanks to another Kevin de Bruyne masterclass.

The champions will now look to overhaul Mikel Arteta’s men in their two rearranged matches.

When will Man City play games-in-hand over Arsenal?

The Premier League have confirmed the dates for City’s two games-in-hand over Arsenal.

The Etihad outfit were set to face the high-flying Brighton just four days before facing Arsenal on Saturday, April 22.

But the fixture was postponed with City in FA Cup semi-final action against Sheffield United which they duly won.

With City progressing to the Champions League semi-finals as well, finding a new date to face Brighton has been tricky.

But now the Premier League has confirmed that it will take place on Wednesday, May 24 at 8pm, just four days before the final day of the season.

City’s other game-in-hand over Arsenal is at home to West Ham.

That tie will be held on Wednesday, May 3, again at 8pm.

The fixtures mean City will play every midweek and weekend until the end of the campaign.
