NFL Seattle Seahawks vs New York Giants Same Game Parlay: Danny tosses dimes at +1027 odds

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (8) throws the ball during the second half against the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium. parlay

The NFL Week 4 slate will wrap up here with Monday Night Football, and we’ve got an intriguing NFC battle between the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants. What better way to celebrate this primetime nationally televised showdown than by betting a Same Game Parlay? Here we go:

New York Giants -6.5 alternate spread (+255)

Daniel Jones to throw for 250+ yards (+188)

Parlay odds: +1037

We have a 2-leg Same Game Parlay which pays out at north of 10/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down.

New York Giants -6.5 alternate spread (+255)

To start off this Same Game Parlay we have the Giants on an alternate spread. The G-Men have caught a lot of heat for starting off 1-2, but their two losses came against the Cowboys and 49ers who are both looking pretty great right now. Both of those teams had ferocious pass-rushes, which the Seahawks don’t. In the only game this season the Giants have played against a non-elite defense, they dropped 31 on the Cardinals on the road.

This is New York’s first home game since their Week 1 debacle at Dallas, and I expect them to come out firing as a result. Since they played the 49ers on Thursday night last week, the Giants have had extra time to prepare for this one. Seattle’s defense was supposed to take a leap this season but that simply hasn’t materialized, as they’ve given up 88 points through their first three games.

I think it’s clear that Geno Smith isn’t going to be as good as he was last year, and Tyler Lockett has only 103 yards through three games. Seattle is going to get back Jamal Adams here, but he hasn’t played since last year and likely won’t be 100 percent. And the Seahawks are going to be without a handful of starters here, including left tackle Charles Cross.

Daniel Jones to throw for 250+ yards (+188)

All we need to cash this parlay at better than 10/1 is one good game from Danny Dimes. And there are plenty of reasons for optimism here. For starters, Seattle is dealing with a slew of injuries at cornerback. Artie Burns, Tre Brown and Coby Bryant all appear set to miss this one, and the pass defense already hasn’t been any good even when at full strength. Just last week they allowed journeyman Andy Dalton to rack up 361 yards against them. The week before that Jared Goff had 323 against them (on only 35 attempts), and in Week 1 Matthew Stafford had 334.

Every quarterback they’ve played has thrown for 320+ yards, so it’s safe to say this is a big step down in competition for Jones after he got roughed up by the Cowboys and 49ers’ defenses. The one time this season that Jones got to face a weaker unit, he passed for 321 yards against Arizona. Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka have to be excited about being able to scheme against this Seahawks defense. And with Saquon Barkley doubtful to play here, they’ll likely have to lean more on their passing attack than they might typically hope to.
