NBA Friday parlay at mega (+1020 odds) today 4/7: Dallas remains hopeful

The final weekend of the regular season is upon us and we have a tasty 11-game night coming our way this Friday. Quite a few teams are resting players which adds an interesting twist to an already complicated situation, but let’s hope a bit of luck is on our side with tonight’s NBA Mega Parlay.

I’d also encourage you to check our NBA Predictions page for picks on the Spread and Total for every single game played tonight, but let’s not waste any more time and jump straight into my Parlay.

New Orleans Pelicans -7.5 Point Spread (-110)

Dallas Mavericks -9 Point Spread (-112)

Sacramento Kings Money Line (+210)

Parlay odds: +1022

New Orleans Pelicans -7.5 (-110) over NY Knicks

To start off the Parlay I have the New Orleans Pelicans covering the spread against the New York Knicks tonight. The Pels are currently in 8th place in the West, tied with the same record as the Lakers which means they would play the play-in game on the road in LA. Winning tonight’s game, with the Lakers losing theirs against Phoenix would put them over LA, so there’s still a lot to play for here if you’re New Orleans. New York, on the other hand, has been settled into the 5th seed for quite some time now and their most important thing right now is to stay healthy and rest key players for their highly anticipated first round against Cleveland. The Knicks are on a 5-game win streak, but you have to think without the likes of Julius Randle, Jalen Brunson and RJ Barrett here they stand no chance vs a motivated Pelicans team that is at full strength, aside from Zion who has been out for a while now. Pelicans are also 8-2 SU/ATS in their last 10, and have covered in 4 of 5 home games.

Dallas Mavericks -9 (-112) over Chicago Bulls

Until there is hope Luka Doncic won’t give up. The Mavericks are on the brink of elimination with just 2 games left and they have to beat a Chicago Bulls team that is finishing 10th in the East regardless of how their last 2 games play out. There is already rumors coming from Chicago that both their stars DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine will not suit up here, without those two the Bulls are a lottery team. If Dallas were to win, that would put pressure on the OKC Thunder who are currently in 10th place, they’ll play the Memphis Grizzlies in their final home game on Sunday. The Mavs have showed signs of life by beating Sacramento in their last game to stay alive, although the pairing of Doncic and Irving hasn’t been at it’s best, I still feel like the play-in seeding will go down the wire until the very last day and a convincing Mavericks victory here would certainly help that cause.

Sacramento Kings ML (+210) over Golden State Warriors

The good thing about tie-breakers is that they give you control of your destiny and this is especially important for the defending champions Warriors who head into Sacramento tonight in hopes of remaining the 6th seed. That would give them the Kings in the first round, which would be an ideal match-up for a team that’s been searching for it’s identity in road games this entire season. The Lakers who are behind them are no longer a threat as they have the tie-breaker, while the Clippers who are ahead of them own that tie-breaker. So in theory, a loss here would be the best option for the Warriors, who would avoid potentially jumping to 5th which would mean playing Phoenix in the first round. The Kings are probably resting all their key players here as well, which is a good thing as it increases the odds for all of us backing the home team to win. Warriors lose this one on purpose and then beat Portland in their final game to wrap up the 6th seed.
