Thursday’s injury reports for both the Bucs and Saints came out this afternoon, and on Tampa Bay’s side, there was only one minor change. Wide receiver Chris Godwin (knee/rest) was the only addition, but do not fret, Godwin will be in the fold on Sunday against New Orleans.
Who may not be in the fold on defense is a big question that remains to be answered. With Cornerback Carlton Davis III (concussion) and outside linebacker Shaq Barrett (groin) not participating, it is growing ever more likely that neither will be suiting up. Both Davis and Barrett still have time to rebound, but Davis was not seen during the open portion of today’s practice and still would need to clear concussion protocol to play. While Barrett was seen on Thursday, it was in his jersey and sweatpants.
At today’s #Bucs practice, CB Carlton Davis III was not seen. OLB Shaq Barrett came outside after warmups.
TE Ko Kieft, WR Rakim Jarrett, and DL Mike Greene were all spotted, but did not Kieft in warmups while Jarrett was lined up at the end and not with the other WRs. pic.twitter.com/KC8pxK7GhE

Should Davis and Barrett not be in play, it would mean that Zyon McCollum and YaYa Diaby, among others, would be the main players stepping into their roles in this critical NFC South matchup.
For the other players listed on the injury report for Tampa Bay, all of them were seen out at practice. Tight end Ko Kieft (shoulder) did not participate and was off to the side, while wide receiver Rakim Jarrett (quadriceps) and defensive lineman Mike Greene (calf) both warmed up and were full participants.
Both of their respective statuses are encouraging to see as they could be activated at any time during their 21-day practice window.

Saints
Similar to not many things changing for the Bucs, the Saints’ injury report largely stayed the same from Wednesday. The biggest names to watch in the coming days are right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (knee), wide receiver Chris Olave (ankle), defensive end Cam Jordan (ankle), and center Erik McCoy (foot).
Ramczyk was the only one among that group to not participate, as Olave, Jordan, and McCoy were limited. The longtime Saints right tackle’s status could be a crucial factor on Sunday as their offense hopes to contain a pass rush led by rookie sensation YaYa Diaby and Co.
