Bucs vs. 49ers Wednesday Injury Report: Davis Returns But Other Starters Out

The Bucs began their practice week on Wednesday with cornerback Carlton Davis III returning to practice as the team prepares to face the 49ers this weekend.

Davis had previously missed all of last week’s practice and the game. He is still looking to bounce back from a rough performance two weeks ago and playing the 49ers is a difficult opponent to get back into the lineup for.

It was good news to have Davis but Tampa Bay had a number of starters missing. Inside linebacker Devin White and right tackle Luke Goedeke were both out because of a foot injury.

Though White played on Sunday against the Titans, he did miss a play due to the foot issue. Safety Ryan Neal (thumb) did not participate as well.

Wide receiver Mike Evans was limited in practice because of a quad injury, but there aren’t any concerns about his availability for the game.
