Meantime:
Seahawks’ practice squad offensive lineman Joey Hunt, whom Joe Buck referred to as a Seattle “staff member” Monday night when he got into a sideline incident with A.J. Brown, was fined $1,610 by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct, per a source.

I’m told the NFL has denied Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro’s appeal of a $100,000 fine for his role in a sideline scuffle with 49ers LB Dre Greenlaw on Dec. 3. Previously reported DiSandro got banned from the sideline for 5 games.

Rob went on to say that Big Dom’s sideline ban remains in place.
He wrote this in an Associated Press story:
The NFL has denied the Eagles’ appeal of a $100,000 fine and the league’s ban of the team’s security chief, Dom DiSandro, from the sideline for the remainder of the regular season, two people familiar with the league’s decision told The Associated Press on Friday.
Philadelphia was fined and DiSandro was barred from the sideline for his role in a scuffle with 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw. The team has paid the fine, said the people who spoke on condition of anonymity because the matter hasn’t been disclosed.
Just so we’re clear, Dom DiSandro was fined $100,000 for pushing Dre Greenlaw away from DeVonta Smith, while Seattle’s Joey Hunt got a $1,610 fine for shouldering A.J. Brown. Both guys made contact with a player along the sideline, but the reason Dom’s fine is 60 times more is because he is not a player. That’s apparently what the NFL is telling us here, and there would be some legitimacy to that thought process if not for the fact that Hunt is a practice squad douche bag who was unable to enter the game. Big Dom shouldn’t be putting his hands on an opposing player, but at least he has a reason to be on the sidelines. Joey Hunt can fuck off to the luxury box and eat a salmon sandwich, or whatever they have in Seattle. He wasn’t part of the 48-man gameday list, nor is he even on the 53-man active roster, so he doesn’t need to be down there to begin with. This would be like Brett Toth deciding to bump Tyreek Hill for no other reason than to be a dickhead.
I hate the NFL.
