‘A lot of s*** went down’ – UFC president Dana White reveals Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler had massive bust-up while filming The Ultimate Fighter

Conor McGregor is not getting along with Michael Chandler while filming the latest series of The Ultimate Fighter.

‘Notorious’ has been in Las Vegas for the past couple of weeks shooting scenes for the MMA reality show alongside his next opponent.

Chandler had been relentlessly but respectfully calling for a fight with McGregor before being matched up with the Irishman following his lengthy injury layoff.

After his initial interactions with the former Bellator champion, McGregor had nothing but good things to say about the man he will meet in the Octagon at some point this year.

He told The Mac Life: “I like Michael, we’re blokes. I posed with him yesterday. I’ve got no issues with him at all. I think he’s a good fighter.

“It will be an interesting one to go against him [on the show] before I go against him [in the fight].”

However, the two UFC stars are no longer on friendly terms according to Dana White who revealed that they had a massive bust-up on Friday.

He said post-fight at UFC 285: “Chandler and Conor were very respectful to each other and then some things started escalating that you’ll see on the show.

“They do not like each other now, a lot of s*** went down on Friday. I don’t look at stuff that’s good for the show or things like that. Whatever happens, happens.

“The stuff that just happened shouldn’t have happened and I’m getting old, boys. I’m getting old. I would’ve been in there sooner back in the old days but not good… There was a lot of s*** that went down on Friday.”

The UFC president stopped short of revealing exactly what happened between McGregor and Chandler but did suggest things got physical between the pair.

‘Mystic Mac’ got irate while filming The Ultimate Fighter in 2015 and clips of his time filming the show eight years later show he is just as passionate about his fighters after becoming one of the richest people in sport.

It’s currently unclear when or where McGregor and Chandler will square off, but White has claimed their fight will be at lightweight despite the former dual-weight champion seriously bulking up during his time away from MMA.
