WWE-mad Tyson Fury confirms he will attend Clash at the Castle after channeling wrestling legend The Undertaker in the biggest moments of his boxing career

Tyson Fury will be one of 74,500 fans in attendance when the WWE returns to the UK for a major pay-per-view event for the first time in 30 years for Clash at the Castle.

The WBC heavyweight boxing champion will be front row to watch the first and only British world champion, Drew McIntyre, try to recapture WWE’s top prize at the Principality Stadium in Wales this weekend.

“I’m really excited for the first WWE premium event in 30 years going down at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff,” Fury said in a video posted to Twitter.

“Where Drew McIntyre challenges Roman Reigns for the WWE undisputed championship, where I will be sat ringside live and exclusive to watch this great event.

“Check it out guys. All the best, God bless. See you all there. Cannot wait! Psyched!”

Fury will forever be linked to WWE legend The Undertaker for something he did inside the boxing ring on December 1, 2018.

In the 12th and final round of his first fight with Deontay Wilder in Los Angeles, Fury seemed to be moments away from picking up a unanimous decision win to dethrone the long-time WBC champion before disaster struck.

‘The Bronze Bomber’ unleashed a ferocious combination that floored Fury who looked to have been knocked out cold. Everyone thought it was over, but the British fighter got up in a scene that reminded people of the WWE icon.

Fury later wore The Undertaker’s hat throughout the build-up to his second fight with Wilder and promised to deliver the WWE legend’s famous line ‘Rest in peace’ after winning the fight by knockout.

That’s exactly what he did before the heavyweight duo fought for a third time the following year, with Fury again winning by KO to end the rivalry once and for all.

After channeling The Undertaker in some of the biggest moments of his boxing career, the 34-year-old dressed up like him and delivered a special message to his hero before he retired from professional wrestling in 2020 after three decades in the sport.

In a clip posted on Instagram, Fury said: “This is a special message to The Undertaker, celebrating 30 years in WWE.

“Fantastic. Thank you very much for all the great nights you’ve given us over the years.

“God bless you, see you around.”

A year prior, Fury made his WWE debut. The Gypsy King defeated Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia after wrestling for around 10 minutes but he didn’t have things all his own way.

The moment that caught many fans’ attention was the call back to his famous first fight with Wilder. Fury rose up just like ‘The Pheonom’ often does to top off what was a truly remarkable WWE debut.

Clash at the Castle headliner McIntyre was meant to face Fury at a WWE UK PPV in 2020 before the pandemic hit and the heavyweight fighter has previously expressed an interest in rebooking that fight.

“Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me. I might have to knock him out. I’d love to be in Cardiff,” Fury told gathered media after knocking out Dillian Whyte in April.

So, don’t be surprised if Fury is more than just a fan in Cardiff this Saturday.
